Second time we have been here, even better than the first time, the staff are very friendly, excellent service, the food is very good, a city centre restaurant would be charging a lot more than these so excellent value for money

We have been coming here for a number of years now and honestly can say it’s one of our favourites, not cheap but by no means overpriced, staff always friendly and knowledgeable and great atmosphere!

First time at the Rising Moon since the change in management and was happy to see no difference than on previous visits. Good quick service to be seated and plenty of staff taking orders and drinks. The food was excellent and great value for money with plenty of choice. We will no doubt be back again.

Booked here for my partner's 50th Birthday. The service was great and didn't have to wait long for our food. The food was spot on and we will return here again.

Lovely food, service excellent and very good value

My group which met on 4th May 2022 had a very enjoyable meal but it was spoilt by the other dinners talking very loudly with no regard for other customers. We were very disturbed by the amount of noise so as I was leaving I mentioned it to one of your staff who happened to say t this could happen. I don’t know how you can resolve this dilemma.

The most excellent food

I came here from a recommendation and was not disappointed. Great food, great atmosphere and great service. Getting in for happy hour is a must, the cocktails were great (there’s one made with rooibos tea which is amazing). I will definitely be coming back!

Had a nice meal here on Monday. 2 types of soup and 4 starters between 2 of us. Only one dish we weren't keen on (beetroot salad) but that was just personal taste. We thought price of the wine was quite expensive. Lady was very pleasant.

Beautiful place great food. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The sticky pork is amazing I’ve had it a few times now. My sister took me for a birthday treat she also loved it. Definitely good portion sizes and value for money.

Lovely Sunday afternoon, mixture of diners, some had the Sunday lunch, some had from the main menu. Food was delicious, service excellent, so good to see somewhere that has enough staff to cope with the number of customers. Highly recommended

Only our 2nd time here and even nicer than the first. Lovely greeting and attentive staff Restaurant is spotless. I just had a mezze starter for main. My partner had mixed grill. It was the juciest, freshest meat - I will have that next time. Lovely place.

Delicious food and drinks. Great table service too.
