Great food, great service, our go to Italian

Ordered rag budding dish, not adequate size. Three pieces of steak inside and 10 chips not enough. Lasagne dish was lovely Burger dish, 10 chips not enough again and not hot enough. Burger tasted delicious though. Drinks- 90 pence for a shot a lime in my lager which I couldn’t even taste, next time I will take my own. Salt and pepper pots had to be changed twice and sauce sachets not restocked. Starters were nice, carrot and ginger soup, pate and spring rolls. Daughters main meal was given to someone else who put salt on the food, was then told that if we didn’t have that one we’d have to wait 30 minutes Service not fantastic due to that issue. Would I go again- probably not.

The food here is always so amazing. The staff are super friendly too. I've recommended to lots of people!

This is our second visit to the Rising was Moon at lunchtime. Although quite busy when we arrived, we were seated quickly and left to decide from the extensive and varied menu. We ordered drinks and fish and chips, which were quickly delivered. The drinks were cold and the food piping hot. Really tasty fish and rather large, but beautifully cooked. All staff were helpful, friendly and professional. A really enjoyable lunch. Will be visiting again soon. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience.

We go here regularly and have never had a bad meal. It's a lovely meal and atmosphere and the staff are great!

Nice waiters but slow service and over priced for quality of food.

Saturday evening at 7:00. Very busy but not overly noisy. Shared the Octopus and paprika potatoes for a starter and unfortunately the Octopus was overcooked and rubbery. Both my wife and I had the fillet steak and they were both great! Service was excellent and pretty fast considering how busy it was. Enjoyed the evening, as usual.

Been a while since we last visited. Mario makes everyone feel welcome, and the staff reflect this too. Food was superb, and extremely well presented. Will be heading back there ASAP.

Was in on Saturday again and it was absolutely brilliant. Staff was lovely, very welcoming and great atmosphere. Was great to see the restaurant full. Me and my mrs will definitely come again!

Excellent experience at this restaurant. This was our first time and was fantastic. I informed the restaurant of the Gluten intolerance and they catered well for this, providing us with a gluten-free menu. Great staff and good drinks too. Will hopefully revisit soon!

Love Amma’s! Amazing food. We usually share a selection of delicious street food dishes, and this time discovered the beetroot and cabbage oothapam, which was a revelation. Fabulous family run restaurant with helpful, friendly staff.

Visited here for the first time on Sunday and wow, service was excellent, food delicious and prices extremely reasonable. Loved that we didn't get ripped off for soft drinks like most places. We will definately be back....
