We recently visited for our 40th wedding anniversary. We were very disappointed to say the least. Menus not as shown on-line no A La Carte menu only early bird and grill menu . Nothing special on either menu for a celebrity occasion. You seriously need to update your website as you are getting people there under false pretenses by advertising the A La Carte menu. The food was nice as an every day meal but not for a special a occasion . Food was exceptionally salty . Also when I asked to see the cocktail menu again which is shown on line I was informed you didn’t have any. This place could be really special if the owners whoever they are put a bit of love and care into the place and improved the menu’s . We got the feeling whoever owns the place made little effort leaving very young inexperienced staff running the place. Would i visit again mmmm maybe, not too sure, but definitely not for a special meal. Improvements are required I hope the owner’s start to take a bit of pride in what they have, as I feel this place could be a very special restaurant if they put the time and effort into it.

We were firstly disappointed when we arrived at the restaurant that there was no cocktail menu, as there had been one on the website, although the bartender did offer to make anything we wanted. Sadly, it turned out that most of the information on the website was not current. We were only offered an early bird menu, despite it being well after the early bird time, and this only had pub standards on it. Having been looking forward to the a la carte menu, this was disappointing, as we wanted a more restaurant quality meal, and so we decided not to stay. The staff could not have been nicer, but it was clear that we were not the first couple by a long chalk to make the observation about the website not being current. We asked for our feedback to be passed on to the owner.

Went here for my Mums birthday, the staff are lovely and the food beautiful. Steak was cooked perfect and would recommend the potato skins.

Tasty Sunday lunch, with no added cost for meat selection like some other restaurants. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff and the food was delicious. Highly recommend

After a great visit to Vine a few weeks ago, we returned. Once again the food and service was excellent.

Went for Sunday Lunch,party of 4. It was one of the best lunches in this area by far. Amazing Yorkshire puddings, meat was delicious and vegetables cooked perfectly. We had various desserts which were all outstanding. Service was friendly, helpful and attentative. Will definitely be going back.

Food was amazing and service too highly recommend the steak snd lobster platter was unreal

Another great evening spent at Vine, great food, good wine and finished with a couple of delicious rum old fashion cocktails. Looking forward to our next visit soon.

A group of four of us visited Vine this week. We had two vegetarian Sharing Boards amongst us with two sides of chips and two of sourdough. The meal was absolutely delicious and the service was brilliant! The weather was great so we ate at a table outside. It was an enjoyable visit from start to finish. We will certainly be visiting again soon.

Food was lovely, really good roast dinner!! The girl looking after our table was very friendly and helpful (blonde young lady with glasses) and a credit to the restaurant, keeping us up to date with delays, ensuring we had drinks etc. There was a little wait for our table and food but being fathers day we expected that and as we were told we really didn't mind! Cocktails were very nice too although there was no menu so had to guess what they could make! Also, called twice to confirm booking and emailed but it hadn't been updated when we arrived...little annoying but nothing major.

We used to love vine restaurant but our last 2 visits have been horrendous . Last night we walked out before even placing our order . Asked for a bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon blanc. To be told we don’t do that…. just house red or white . Tasted it and it was like vinegar . The menu on the website shows monkfish hence why we booked. Upon arrival the menu was completely different with limited choices . This used to be a busy restaurant . 8pm Friday night only 2 tables eating ?? The best thing about the place is the saxophonist

No menus, and different food to what is on website. Waitress didn't know what drinks they had. Starters were overcooked and tasteless. Sunday lunch however, was really nice.
