Great food and service, would definately recommend!

This is my go to place for lunch in Newcastle. Friendly staff, varied menu and food is always excellent.

Booked in fur a date night. The food was beautiful. Service was excellent and bill at the end was well worth it.

One of our go to restaurants in Newcastle. Always great food, friendly service and good value for money. Well worth a visit and caters for all ages.

Disappointed at the service here on Friday night as one of the waiters was very rude. We told him we’re blocking in another car and he was very rude with his response. Had to call someone over to take our order as we were sat for a while and no one came over and even offered to ask us for drinks.

Disappointed last night as I turned up early for my booking and was turned away with the statement that I wouldn't be able to get served for nearly 2 hours as it was full of football supporters. I was quite happy to go as at least they were honest in telling the truth about what had happened. As I'd booked and had very good meals there in the past I was very annoyed as to why they'd either overbooked or given my table away. Very poor as it was a big night for us as well.

Excellent food at great prices. Lunchtime special is a must. Love this place when meeting up with my daughter at uni.

Recommended a lunch with family , didn’t disappoint .. for the first timers they will def be back , amazing service, wonderful food . Happily accommodated us to drinks outside after our meal . Thanks again for a lovely afternoon ! Xx

Superb food, lovely atmosphere and great service!

My wife and I had a lovely meal at Red Mezze on 25th April prior going g to a concert in Newcastle. The food was lovely and fresh, and very tasty. We had the house red wine which was very drinkable! The staff were all very pleasant and efficient. All in all, a great experience, and very good value.

We have eaten here many times and the food is always lovely. Unfortunately on this occasion 21st April , the service was really bad. The restaurant had massively overbooked. We managed to get our table ok but it took over an hour and 30 mins to get our food. We were literally just about to walk out when our mains suddenly appeared. I asked 3 times if I could get a rough estimate of waiting time and they couldn’t even tell me. They just kept saying the kitchen was really busy. We saw at least 6 parties of people walk out due to either not getting their food. Or they had booked a table and there were none available for them. Even after they waited for up to 45 mins. It was a match day but we always eat here before the game and never seen anything like this before. Unfortunately we won’t be going back now.

Amazing food and staff that couldn’t do more visited for my daughters 21st and definitely not disappointed. Lovely staff fab food what more can you ask definitely be going back
