Visit Kafeneon regularly and it never fails to deliver on great quality greek food, service and atmosphere.

We were a group of nine and had a wonderful evening at Kafeneon. We had booked in advance and we were seated promptly at our table. By a welcoming member of staff. The service all evening was excellent the food was excellent too with a very good gluten free menu available for one of our party! The restaurant has a warm and friendly atmosphere-top quality food and drinks and very reasonably priced! We highly recommend Kafeneon!

We went to Boquerones as a group of 4 and we had a great time! We ordered four dishes each, though three would probably have been enough as the portion sizes are generous! The steak and the boquerones in particular were delicious. The service is great and the atmosphere nice and casual. We will be back!

Fantastic lunch yesterday. It was very busy but you'd never know it. The staff were friendly, welcoming and super efficient. The food was excellent. Fresh, presentable and so tasty. Highly recommend

Food was delish as always we both had starters, mains and coffee, the evening was very busy, staff were amazing as always.

Very nice, good value on the happy hour deal, two courses for around £15. Big portions, quick service, tasty food. Would recommend.

Second visit , brought some friends along , loved it all . Food was gorgeous , excellent service- put us all in the mood for our trip to Rhodes end of September.

In Newcastle for a theatre visit and as Grecophiles we decided to have a trip down memory lane as we used to visit Simply Greek in the early 2000s. Brilliant service in a pleasant ambience. Food was spot on. We had the Deep fried Feta Saganaki along with Spanakopita to start then Yemista and Pastitsio for mains all delicious and great portions. All in all a brilliant meal and highly recommended. We will be back soon when we are next in Newcastle.

First time eating here and will definitely be back. Food was lovely, served quickly, and service was brilliant. Love pace of serving with it being tapas. Loved the decor of restaurant too which made it feel authentic
