Went to Red Mezze for a colleague's birthday and what a fantastic time we all had. The service was fantastic and the food was just amazing. Best chilli sauce I've ever had. Then to top it off the staff, without request, brought a piece of chocolate cake for the birthday boy and 2 desserts for us all to share. A fabuloys time was had by us all.

As always, lovely relaxed atmosphere and attentive, friendly staff. Food excellent and service quick, which is appreciated at lunchtime. Turkish coffee to round off the meal is always good.

What a breath of fresh air it was discovering this amazing restaurant ! Very welcoming and attentive staff, lovely ambience in this restaurant which was spotlessly clean and cosy.!The food was of generous portions and cooked perfectly with fresh ingredients. Excellent on all scores and I would reccomend to anyone looking for an incredible meal.

Been before and always been happy.. this time not so much. The king prawn 3rd couse still had most of the scales on. The sweet and sour chicken was very dry no sauce

We booked a table here for a meal on Saturday afternoon before the Newcastle match.The service was excellent despite the restaurant being very busy they were very well prepared. The food was gorgeous and the portions were plentiful. The lovely warm pita bread with starters was fab. Will defo return as thought it was great value for the quality of food,drinks and slick service.

We visited Red Mezze on 3 Feb 2026 and had a really nice meal, we would definitely recommend to others, very war, inviting and comfortable. We would particularly like to say what a fabulous waitress we had (Marta), she was so lovely and welcoming to two visitors from London and made us so welcome, in fact we would quite like to adopt her, haha. 5/5 for everything. I brought my family here at Christmas who were visiting from abroad and they said it was their favourite restaurant. My 7 year old daughter loved it so much she asked to go again and will double order a dish if she loves it specifically the prawns and the boquerones. Will be back again.

The food was fantastic and the service was really good. The restaurant was a bit chilly at first (warmed up after an hour) and the walls / decor could be a bit high quality. The food was excellent though.

We had a meal a little after 5pm on Friday before a concert at the glasshouse. The service was super. The food was beautiful. We live 100 miles away and will definitely book again when we are in the area. It would have been even better if it resturant was a little warmer. It was on the chilly side and it had only just opened for the evening service. Even though, highly recommend.
