First time visit at the restaurant and wow - so impressed. The lady who greeted us was very polite and accommodating .We sat near the entrance door ( out of choice ) which was lovely and we were surprised how busy the restaurant is and how attentive the staff were. Lady doing the seating knew exactly where everyone was sat and which tables were still available for lots of walk in bookings. Drinks ordered and served within 10 minutes of arriving . Meal ordered within 20 mins and prompt with exceptional service. Ordered the meze platter for 2 - lovely selection of food and plenty of it. Will definitely be returning again .

This is my 'must' go to restaurant when I'm in Newcastle. All previous visits have been very enjoyable and this one was no different. The food and service were both excellent. I will certainly eat here again when I'm next in Newcastle.

Lovely meal. Food hot and tasted superb. Staff just, so, so nice, very helpful polite and polite.

Good service. Friendly staff. Great food. You won't need a dessert! Definitely worth a visit if you are in Newcastle. Don't forget to book a table. People were being turned away on a Friday night.

We always come to Newcastle just to eat at Kafeneon, this place never ever disappoints, the food, the service, the vibe is amazing, 10 out of 10 each and every time we've visited, and we come a lot considering we live 40/50 minutes away. I will always recommend to anyone who wants to try Greek food.. go to Kafeneon!! Thank you for yet again another great meal!!

Booked for our Son's 27th birthday, 4 adults and 1 toddler. Food was tasty and there was excellent choices on the 2 course menu. Unfortunately we were put on a table downstairs which was awkward for me tackling the spiral staircase with a walking stick. It wasn't practical for our 2yr old Grandaughter either when she needed the toilet and they are on the 1st floor. There was no children's menu, however the waitress said our Grandaughter could have a smaller portion (1 skewer)of chicken souvlaki for £7.95, which we ordered. It wasn't until we got home that I noticed the child's food had been charged the adult price! We would visit again, but only if we could be guaranteed a table on the first floor.

Once again, wonderfull food lovely staff, great place, highly recommend.

We are regular customers at cafe neon. Have celebrated family birthdays & anniversary's. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Food is always tasty and well presented & Good value for money . We will definitely be going to kafeNeon again

Staff were great and very accommodating, the plates for lunch were full and at a great price. If visiting Newcastle this place is a must visit for good food.
