Amazing food been coming here for years the quality always stays the same. Menu is modern and very good gluten free range most Chinese don’t offer. Great service from staff.

All of the ingredients are so fresh, and are made with love. The leek and manchego croquettes were an underdog and absolutely stole the show for me, my boyfriend also loved the goats cheese. The food is brought out in stages so despite worrying about our small table, everything fit. Will definitely return again, and hopefully the cream cheese and walnut peppers will be back in stock (we loved those the first visit!!!) All the staff are lovely and a credit to an all round fabulous hidden gem in Heaton.

Would have liked a balance to the small plates as they were being brought out so we had two potato dishes with only one meat dish for the first 10-15 mins & then the other meat dishes came later which by then we’d eaten the potato dishes..

We felt like we were quite rushed into ordering our food and didn’t have much of a break in between courses. We didn’t enjoy our food and thought it was quite bland. Our bill came to £115 which was a lot of money for the standard of food we had. The majority of the guest reviews are really positive so perhaps it was just a one off with us.

I do, however, feel that service charge should be left to the client and not added to the bill. All in all a very enjoyable experience
