Arrived at 3 pm Sunday with my wife and 2 granddaughters as usual a lovely welcoming from C J . Food as always great service spot on , our favourite place in town.

We were a party of 9 (work Christmas night) and had fabulous service from start to finish. Excellent communication over the booking beforehand and brilliant service on the night. Food was excellent. Not easy to please 9 people. We all loved it, thanks!

Lovely meal at KafeNeon yesterday with superb service from very friendly staff. Definitely would recommend a visit.

We visited on a Thursday afternoon while on a shopping trip to Newcastle having pre - booked which was just as well. The restaurant was very busy and appeared full, however, we were seated immediately, the service was excellent and the food was amazing - we had the meze for 2. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kafeneon for any occasion.

Lovely food and amazing staff, always a warm welcome , would thoroughly recommend. Booked online this time with a friend as I know how busy and popular they can get. Can often just walk in too l, when my husband and I are in town this is our go to place. Already booked to comeback with friends for next weekend x

We had our Christmas meal at the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful from booking, and throughout the meal. The food was served quickly which was impressive for a large group. There is plenty of choice, including vegan's and a gluten free menu. The food was nice and went down well with the group and was also a good portion - try the Big Fat Greek Gyros if you are hungry. Altogether the meal was thoroughly enjoyable and well priced.

An absolute gem! Food is beautiful and couldn't fault it. Service staff are very attentive but not in your face hurrying you up. Impressed we had the table for 2hrs, although we didn't need that long. Very reasonably priced, food was plentiful and cocktails are a definite must to try! Definitely our new place to go on a girls afternoon out for food and drinks. Already recommended it to others.

My favourite place to eat in Newcastle City centre. Been here countless times, food and service is always excellent. They offer a wide range of gluten free choices and always feel safe eating here. Love the place.

My daughter and I arrived a bit early but the person greeting us sorted us out with a table very quickly. We had the most lovely table where you had to lower your head to sit, but once seated the lowered ceiling was not a problem. There were several mirrors on the wall which made the space feel even bigger. The greeting by all the staff was amazing and so friendly. The menu was extensive with lots of lovely choices, and the value for money was very good. Our meal was delicious and well presented and we would definitely have it again. We shared a pudding which was substantial to be able to share and it was thoroughly delicious. The service was amazing: prompt and delivered with a smile each time and we built a lovely rapport with the two servers. Both the female & the male server were so very pleasant that they added to the great experience. Overall, the ambience of the restaurant was very warm & welcoming with a fabulous atmosphere. The staff are a credit to Kafeneon and we will definitely return. Thank you for an amazing experience before we went off to watch the Christmas movie The Holiday at the Tyneside Cinema.

Incredible food, great atmosphere, fast service and reasonably priced too - a winner all round

I’ve been going to kafe Neon for many years and the service has always been amazing, the food is so fresh and tasty, great atmosphere! A must visit for anyone coming to Newcastle.

What a lovely place. The food is amazing and staff are happy and attentive. Buzzing atmosphere. Been twice so far and sat downstairs. Great deco. Food presentation beautiful.

The waiter was super friendly and kind, very welcoming atmosphere from all staff as soon as i entered. Our waiter was prompt with our drinks order and bringing them and the food was also brought out quickly! There was 2 menus and lots to choose from, a ranges of sizes and options and a large drinks menu. To top it off the food is beautiful and really affordable, would definitely recommend!
