Came last night for restaurant week and it was fantastic! We were. Group of 4 (and 1 meal to take out) we had holoumi fries, slouvaki, a lasagne type thing , a lamb and holoumi wrap and 2 x stifado The portions were huge and everything was tasty and hot The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient and the bill was leas than £100 for 5 of us with 3 soft drinks, a pint and a wine We cant believe we haven’t been here before and will definitely be returning

lovely friendly staff, good choice of Greek food, tasty, original and plentiful. sangria was a bit of a let down but staff happily added more lemonade to the table for us to add to it. second time eating there and would happily go back when in Newcastle.

Absolute perfect meal. Greeted with smile and made very welcome. Meal was perfect we shared starters then had main course each. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the meal was excellent. Will definitely be returning soon.

My husband and I dined at Kafeneon on Sunday - unusual because we normally prefer midweek - but we enjoyed the same good food, as well as the same terrific service from the great staff. We have been going regularly for several years now and it remains our favourite eating place.

This was lunch with my daughter. We both had the two course special. The food was lovely and I had to ask for a doggy bag as there was so much we could not eat it all. Kafeneon is turning into our go to restaurant when my daughter is home on a visit

Absolutely superb meal. Delicious, authentic dishes( I had the Lamb Kleftico, and my party had beef stifado, moussaka and gyros - oh my God!!!) Very generous portions and fabulous service. Can't recommend enough!

Booked for a party of five to celebrate a family birthday. It was a busy Saturday evening but our table was ready and the staff were friendly and attentive. Food was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed a glass or two of Retsina. Will visit again and recommend to friends and family.

Had a lovely meal here on the 27th Dec. The team were very accommodating to the ever increasing numbers and put us in a private room. The food and service were great. We paid for our drinks seperately as we were a big group and it's always messy. Would highly recommend

Just had our lunch there yesterday 3.1.2025, and it was wonderful. Food is fresh and cooked to perfection giving you that “on holiday” vibe when eating it; and as great as the food is the staff are brilliant. Always a wonderful welcome on arrival and smiles throughout during service. BEST IN TOON.
