Great food, great location and great value for money. Will definitely revisit if back in Newcastle.

Really great food and lovely staff. We changed our booking last minute from 3 people to 7 and they were able to move tables around to accommodate for us, which we really appreciated. Personally bought the Spanakopita and Chicken Gyros, both excellent. It's my favourite Newcastle restaurant and love it every time I go back (especially as I only live in Newcastle half the year).

First time at Kafeneon & absolutely loved it. The staff were extremely friendly & accommodating. The food was delicious and such good value for money. I had heard good reports from numerous friends so decided to check it out for myself & I'm so pleased I did. I loved everything about this restaurant & would highly recommend it. I will definitely be back for more.

Went to KafeNeon with Steve to use vouchers we got as Christmas pressie. Been lots of times and had take aways when in lock down. Never been disappointed. Food fab, staff fab, a great place to eat. Thanks to all staff. Yammas!!!!

Pre theater lunch: wanted a light meal, went for the lunchtime meze. Very tasty and great service.

Fabulous place to eat. We had chicken souvlaki and the mixed kebab. Everything was cooked extremely well and the salad and chips were great. I had a glass of sangria which was huge but very nice. The staff were excellent even though it was a busy Saturday. We’ll definitely return.

Absolutely loved this place. I’m coeliac and often find it hard to find safe places to eat. However this place was spot on. Drinks were really lovely too. The staff were very friendly and kind. Defo go again.

As a family of 9 people of varying ages, we visited red mezze on 27th May 2024. We could not have been made to feel more welcome. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and amazing top quality Turkish cooking - we all thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to go back!

Went to Kafeneon for my birthday and myself and my partner got a mezze sharing platter which was absolutely beautiful. We loved everything included in the platter but the absolute star was the beef stifado which we both agreed was the nicest thing we’d had in ages. We also had a baklava and churros for desert, both of which were amazing. Put it this way, we went to Crete last year and the food there was good but the food at Kafeneon topped it!
