The restaurant mid week was busy which is always a good time. We ordered the starter meze for two and the main meal meze for two and everything was delicious. The food served was massive and very tasty. I’m sure we’ll be back and I’ve already told a few people All about the Restaurant Service was excellent, and so, were our Aperol spritz’s!

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Red Mezze. Brilliant food and service as well as being good value for money. Will definitely be going back and recommending to friends.

Fantastic authentic Greek food at a reasonable price, good friendly service. Food was brought to us very quickly, no waiting around.

26/11/23 arrived early & they still accommodated us without any fuss, gave us a nice quiet table, spent time answering all our queries regarding both food & drink, the food was really great, service faultless in all excellent value, we will certainly visit on our next visit to Newcastle.Thank you for a lovely night.

Booked online so easy, then had to change the time which meant a phone call. I phoned changed time , found the staff brilliant and most helpful. From the moment my friend and I entered the restaurant nothing was to much trouble. Lovely eating area , staff very attentive nothing was to much trouble. Food absolutely delicious, amazing portions sizes . Price definitely valve for money. We certainly will be returning and would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Top notch! Visited here after an overnight trip from East Yorkshire. Food was really good and great value and the service was amazing. Will return if ever in the area :-)

Brilliant food and service, it was our first time visiting but certainly won't be our last. Everything we ordered was exceptional!

Visited Red Mezze on 25th November for lunch on way to match. Our food was delicious, specials are really good value at £11.95 for two courses. I had hummus which was lovely followed by chicken shish. No complaints at all. My son had mixed grill which was big. Again fabulous. The atmosphere is good and the staff friendly. They were very apologetic about where we were sat but we had no problem with it. Will definitely return.

I just celebrated my birthday at Boquerones with family and had a wonderful evening. We all agreed that the food was excellent, the wine and other drinks superb and the service very good. A big thank you to Jan and her team for making it such a lovely evening We will be back !!!!!!

Some of our party arrived late, the restaurant were really nice and whilst they let us know they needed the table after two hours, they were lovely making sure we all got food in plenty time. Food was amazing and good value, served quickly. Drinks all kept topped up. I can’t wait to come back.

Fabulous tapas. I did think some of the dishes were overpriced ie the beef cheek wasn't huge and was £10..... house wine was really good. Attentive service but it did feel a bit rushed. Wouldn't stop me going back though! Calamari was one of the best I've had (and I've eaten a lot of it!)

Great food, staff and atmosphere

Food was tasty and well presented and the staff were all friendly. Unfortunately the restaurant itself is very tired, the lighting was far too bright and we had to sit with our coats on as it was so cold. It felt like a cheap greasy spoon cafe. Sorry but won’t be back.

Great venue- food is excellent ( chorizo in honey is amazing) staff really friendly- would definitely recommend
