We visited at lunchtime for my mums birthday and we had the most wonderful lunch. The food came quickly was super tasty and the atmosphere and service was relaxed and attentive. Can’t get bored of this place as the food has so much to offer.

The Smokehouse Ormesby – Great YarmouthWe visited the Smokehouse on recommendation from a family member and also as a trip out for my girlfriends birthday. Was an interesting experience to say the least unfortunately the WiFi system had gone down leading to breakdown in communication between staff members. We waited 40 minutes for our cocktail order but during this time we did receive our starter which was fantastic. Unfortunately they managed to get my girlfriends food order wrong and I personally felt the waiter who bought food to table was very rude didn’t ask if everything was ok was just simply “enjoy your food”. But our main waitress Kirsty was fantastic I think I lost count for the amount of times she apologised. Smokehouse were aware I hadn’t got a Birthday cake but they bought in a massive chocolate one so that was brilliant and after expressing our experience with the manageress she took significant pricing off of our bill for what we were very grateful for. This one bad experience will not put us off returning to the Smokehouse again.

The Smokehouse Ormesby – Great YarmouthHad be recommended the smokehouse by family who had visited few months previously we stupidly ordered starters not realises how big the main portions would be starters were lovely was a little let down with the mains burgers tasted like a snack van burger which was a shame as they have such a wide range of burgers on the menu, also the mound portion of "skin on chips" were very over cooked no fluffy insides but our waitresses kirstie was very helpful and even recommended items too.

The Smokehouse Ormesby – Great YarmouthWent for a birthday meal with the family. Had booked a table in advance. Waitress saw us to the table and gave us menus. Orders were taken promptly. Drinks were ordered but were slow in coming out. Starters arrived. The food was lovely and hot. Tasted delicious. No complaints. The mains took a while to be served. When they arrived, the food looked great but it was slightly off putting as there was far too much on the plate. Ended up taking 4 doggie bags home. Would go again but would ask for smaller portions. So much waste. One other thing the music was far too loud where we were sitting. They did turn it down a bit on request.

Jorges Restaurant – NorwichWe stayed down the road at the haven site and I come across this place by looking on trip adviser so I booked it for the Sunday before we come home, the staff was lovely and very attentive, we didn’t have a starter as I read that they are massive so we just had a main course, the steaks was cooked perfectly, and the chips was really nice too, my 7 year old son had a cheeseburger and chips and said it was delicious, they had a lovely outdoor space too with a park, and a live signer outside too, everything about it was lovely Would definitely recommend this place and we will come back when we are that way,
