Service very good, food good but bit expensive for just steak and chips extras to add if you want but no mushrooms or onion rings available, small quaint small restaurant, would use again

I've visited once before with my girlfriends for an evening meal and it was wonderful, this time I booked with my Mum for lunch and it did not disappoint, Mum was delighted! The food was amazing, the staff were superb, cannot rate this beautiful, intimate restaurant highly enough.

Absolutely gorgeous! Would 100% recommend to anyone. Quality is top notch and the staff are fantastic. 100% recommend the meat sharing boards and the Crème brûlée! Will be back soon. Thankyou for a lovely evening!

We went for my mums 70th birthday. The food and service was brilliant and they made the evening really special. Great atmosphere, wonderful team and incredible food.

We have visited Jorge’s a few times now as we love the cosy feel, warm welcome, great service and the green wine! The highlight, however, is of course the food. We had Mozambique prawns and Portuguese sausage to start, followed by Iberian black pork and ribeye. There’s nothing overly fancy, but the ingredients and flavours are incredible, and everything is cooked to perfection. Sadly, we had no room for desserts or cocktails, so we have a good excuse to go back!

Beautiful food and restaurant

Took my family out to the White Swan for fish and chips Wednesday. The fish was very fresh and cooked perfectly lovely crispy batter, proper chip shop chips and curry sauce, we will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend a visit.

We had a really nice Portuguese Tapas Lunch, the service and food was excellent and lovely Portuguese Wine choices. We had the Clams, Ribs and Chicken wings, all cooked to perfection! I highly recommend this quaint Restaurant with nice atmosphere, in a lovely part of the City.

Visited on Tuesday 25th November for lunch what a bargain 2 for 1 on mains , we both opted for the fish and chips ( Cod ) who’s was absolutely huge and amazing quality staff very friendly and efficient we will definitely be returning thank you

Great food, lovely atmosphere and attentive, friendly staff.

Yet again a great night with great food the Skate wing was to die for i asked for it to be well cooked and i was.Totally enjoyed every month full. We were a table of 4 and well all enjoyed our meals.

We always enjoy great food and the staff are very pleasant.

Great all round, an afternoon to remember and we will come back again

This was our first visit , booked for lunch , partly because of the reviews and the interesting menu. We chose the tapas fish menu and were not disappointed.The food was delicious , the octopus was so tender it nearly melted in the mouth. The squid , clams , vegetable croquettes were all of the same high standard . The wine selection was also interesting, we had a house selection green wine which perfectly complemented the food . The restaurant was full , lovely ambience and the service was really good too. A delightful experience. A definite for another visit.

What a lovely little restaurant. Food was great service was warm and friendly without constantly interrupting our meal. Very happy to have found this place and will definitely be coming back.

Another fabulous meal at Jorges, the food and service was perfect as always, great to see them fully booked, well deserved!
