Had a beautiful meal here with my family while visiting family in Norwich. Food was beautiful and to a really high standard. We ate in a Tuesday at the tapas night. Service was good, prompt and friendly. Staff had a really good knowledge of what they were serving and were able to answer some of our questions about wine. The atmosphere was great too. I would 100% recommend this to people who rate good quality ingredients and like to support local small businesses

I am more than happy to write a review for this beautiful restaurant. Upon entering, immense warmth was given from our gentle, knowledgeable and caring waitress, who explained the menu to us and answered our questions. The food was delightful, the wine superb and the atmosphere was perfect within this little hidden gem. One word of advice for anyone who visits (and you really should), order a side as the portions are not large, but what is it again, ahh yes...quality over quantity!! Enjoy. ps there is a taster menu in June, looks fabulous!!

I had lunch at Jorges restaurant on Good Friday. This is the third time I visited Jorges and once again there was a good atmosphere, prompt service and excellent food. I brought my sister here and we were most impressed with our tapas lunch. Delicious ! We will be back ! Many thanks Caroline

The best meal I have had in Norwich, we had 3 starters and the steak sharing platter. Absolutely brilliant from the minute we walked in. Will come again. Brilliant

This is our go to restaurant everytime we can afford to. Absolutely love the food, the relaxed atmosphere and service. I had the chargrilled prawns and squid on Saturday eve and it is easily the closest to eating out in Portugal you can get. The whole family loves eating here, hope to be back before too long.

Visited Jorge's on Thursday for lunch with my husband and my brother. Excellent tapas as always. Have been there several times now and will be back again.

I never normally write reviews but this was such a fantastic experience. Delicious food (every tapas dish was gorgeous, and then to top it off the desserts were so good, I had two!). It's a lovely intimate environment but still you feel private at your table. Fantastic service, very genuine. Lovely mix of dishes, really like having an authentic Portuguese experience. As soon as I'm not pregnant I'll go back to enjoy the wine! And I think it's recently priced, portion sizes for tapas were good. My mum and I had a great lunch and I can't recommend this highly enough.

Very good food in a small intimate restaurant with friendly knowledgeable staff. On a short city break to Norwich we felt that we couldn't have chosen anywhere better than Jorge's.

Not the first time we have eaten at Jorge's so we knew that we were going to be in for another good evening. Jorge's is not the largest of restaurants so is well suited to small groups and intimate meals. On this visit every group was 2 or 3 people. The visit started with us having to change the original booking when one of our party pulled out with illness. This presented no problem. We arrived 10 minutes early and were escorted to our table by their friendly staff. Drinks were ordered and quickly arrived with some olives and garlic bread. The food was was excellent: well presented, arriving at regular times and was extremely tasty. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. Jorge's is not the cheapest of restaurants but we certainly don't mind paying for quality - and Jorge's does give you quality. We shall return in the near future. Well worth visiting.

Fabulous menu with a lovely variety of meats, fish and wine that is clearly thought through to give the best experience of Portuguese cuisine. We had the seafood with rice and it was beautifully cooked and presented, and tasted amazing. The wine list was extensive and the staff were very attentive and helpful in giving advice to help you select your choices. Will definitely go back.

This was my second visit, a Tuesday, a tapas night. It was simply fabulous. The food was delicious, prompt, and filling. I am a veggie and the choice was sensational, while my fellow diners had an eye-watering variety of meat and fish. But it was the service I loved the most. Our hostess was everything you could ask for ... helpful, friendly, attentive, informative and she always had time for us. We talked about everything and those interactions made the evening. Loved it.
