My partner and I were delighted with the food at Ciscoes. Empty plates is the proof in the pudding and there was no crumbs to be found. We will be back.

We went to CISCOES the day me and my partner got engaged and they went all out on service for us. Our waiter was fantastic and really looked after us. I saw some comments on the time the food takes to come but we had the platter and so much care goes into making the food I didn't think it was too long to wait. Will definitely be back again, one of our favourites for Norwich.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Choice on the menu was a bit limited and lots of sharing options which weren't ideal. Staff were delightful and incredibly helpful. Wine was delicious. It was a lovely meal overall.

We visited Jorges for the second time in 3 months and we were not disappointed. The pork tenerloin was delicious. Its just like being transported from Norwich to Portugal. The service is excellent the cosy restaurant not too overpowering and the food......Sublime. Our guest this time was vegetarian + pescatarian and she really enjoyed the tapas dishes and especially the large number of dishes she could choose from. Great wine too. It is definitely one of our go to restaurants when in Norwich.

We visited on a Wednesday evening, finding the restaurant to be very quiet. Despite this we had a most enjoyable experience. The service was very good and we enjoyed an excellent meal. We are pescatarian but still had plenty of choice from the fish and veggie options. The menu includes a good selection of sides, also offering choices for our diet. We were recommended to choose around 3 dishes per person but were assured we could add options at any time. We opted for 2 fish and 2 veggie dishes accompanied by a refreshing salad, no limp lettuce leaves here. The portion sizes were generous and each dish was well presented and tasty. Whilst difficult to single out one dish I would have to opt for the Squid Taco, there were 2 generous sized Tacos, so we were able to have one each, it was packed full and the squid was cooked to perfection. We managed to leave a little room for desserts of which there are only 2 choices on the menu, Pastel de Nata which is a Portuguese Custard Tart, if you’ve never tried one it’s a must, and a Portuguese Trio, which we opted for and shared. This was made up of 3 small desserts, including egg yolk cheese straws (delicious, who would have thought egg yolks could taste this good), a luscious thick choc mousse and a small cake which was also delicious. We washed all this down with a glass of the Portuguese House Wine. Last and by no means least everything was priced reasonably, excellent value for money.

It was a last minute booking and I didn’t know what to expect. I have to say it was lovely. The staff were all very friendly and the food was amazing. Will defiantly be going back

Jorge’s is just fantastic, food, wine, service and atmosphere. Our go to place, don’t be disappointed, book well ahead!!! So good.

The only positives to write are pretty decor and friendly staff . Poor representation of Asian food . Slow service : waited 45 minutes for starter. (Tempura items are quick & easy foods to cook . ) Food description on the menu is not accurate eg. ordered the honey pork , not expecting to be served pork belly . Expensive and definitely over priced fir the quality of food serviced . £27 for a main course which 1/2 was lnot eaten as poor quality . Overall 1 of 2 starters not eaten , 1 main dish not touched and remaining 2 only 1/2 eaten as poor quality , rice was hard and stir fried vegetables not complimenting taste of the main component of the dish . Couldn’t wait to get the bill and leave . £98 for 3x people . Left hungry and had to source food from a different outlet after leaving . Better quality food which is more authentic can be food elsewhere in Norwich . Would not visit again or recommend .

The food was absolutely amazing! We sat at the bar overlooking the chefs in action which we were hesitant about to begin, but it really made the experience! It was not our first visit and it certainly won’t be our last. Lovely atmosphere, accommodating staff and talented chefs. Superb!
