The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonWe went for meal on Valentine’s Day as it is also my birthday. I had the pork belly and my wife the mushroom starters and both were very very nice. For mains we went for the rib eye steak and corn fed chicken. Again both were perfect. Our server was very polite and professional. We like to treat ourselves with a meal at the Hopping Hare now and again, and it never disappoints. Thank you.

What let the whole experience down was the service or lack of it. We had to ask for many things such as menus , extra drinks , sauces , dessert order etc . Just terribly slow and uninterested in whether we have a great experience or not. Manager nowhere to be seen.

The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonCannot recommend enough! Some of the most beautifully delicious food I’ve ever eaten. Between us we tried the local venison, sea bass, pork belly, and fish & chips. Could not fault a single thing, it tasted as stunning as it looked. The care and attention that went into each plate was obvious. The service was wonderful, the staff knew exactly when to come to the table and when to step back. Always friendly and smiling from the moment we arrived. Counting down the days until we go back again.
