Our second visit since the Royal George reopened. Our meals on both occasions have been great and service excellent. It can get noisy as it’s a very old building with low ceilings but it’s happy noise due to the welcoming atmosphere and people having a lovely time. We will definitely be back again

The bar staff are so friendly and accommodating and the tables set out in a way that you don't even notice other guests.

First two meals arrived at 8:40pm! However when it did arrive it was worth the wait. All 10 meals were delicious!

The Royal George – Market HarboroughThe Hopping Hare is generally very good with food and service but when we went for breakfast the food was very good but arrived nearly cold - there seemed to have been a glitch between the kitchen and the front of house. We were not welcomed but initially made to feel as though we shouldn't be there as the bookings hadn't been checked. That could have been handled a lot better. She did her best to make up for it during the service. Real shame about the tepid food as it had obviously been freshly cooked and care had been taken.
