Food and beer was nice, the food being piping hot and very tasty. Staff were friendly and attentive. Only slight downside was the crumble of the Chicken Leek and Tarragon crumble was powdery not crunchy, but this did not detract from the taste.

The pub had a lovely atmosphere, set in a lovely place Staff were really attentive and not pushy. Gave us plenty of time to order. Food was freshly prepared and hot. This was about a 45 min drive for both me and my friend and we’ve both said we’d return. Standard value for a nice lunch ( we had 2 courses). Would recommend to friends and family and will look forward to returning
