A little gem!, lovely staff and amazing food and service, so good we went back the next day!

Warm and inviting atmosphere, cosy and comfortable. The staff were lovely, polite and friendly. We had the meat sharing platter which was delicious.

What a fantastic find. I went with my pal at lunchtime and we were not disappointed. The food and wine were excellent and the staff helpful and free. I recommend booking at popular times (1pm) as the restaurant was full, as it's small and cozy

Had a celebratory meal for my partners birthday. Staff were very polite and knowledgeable. The place is small yet cozy We really enjoyed our meal and the wine that went with it perfectly Would definitely recommend Jorges and we can't wait to return!

A tucked away gem in the centre of Norwich and a reminder how underestimated is Portuguese cuisine. There’s a genuine range of dishes; rather than the usual vegan excuse they offer three choices and an excellent combo of red/white meat and fish. Don’t be deterred by the price of the most expensive dishes; we had elements of all three courses and I spent no more per head than at Pizza X a few days later. Good wine selection too – those big reds but spot on vinho verde also. And a call out for the service too. I’ll certainly go again.

The most delightful evening and food absolutely delicious along with excellent service. The restaurant is lovely and quaint and have no hesitation to recommend, definitely returning.

What an amazing restaurant! We were warmly welcomed and really looked after. The menu is extensive and our host explained the options, it was hard to choose what to have. They were also understanding of my need for gluten free food. A truly authentic Portuguese menu. Everything was delicious, and I'd definitely come back. We booked originally as a table for 2, ended up with 7 of us and they were so accommodating with fitting us in. Thank you.

A lovely meal and good service

I went with a friend to Jorge’s as I’d heard good reports and it certainly did not disappoint quite possibly the best steak I’ve ever had in Norwich great service lovely atmosphere Jorge himself extremely helpful ! Not cheap, but worth every penny in my opinion will definitely be returning

More than just a meal out - it's a dining experience. My fiance and I came here to re-live our recent holiday to Portugal and it did not disappoint! The hospitality was wonderful, the decor, lighting and details made it a great setting - and from the moment we walked in, the smell let us know we were in for a fantastic meal. You can tell the staff are passionate about the food they serve, so we had no problems parting with our money - it was well worth it. When we ate it was like being transported out of Norwich back to our holiday and we had a wonderful evening out. The food was so flavourful and delicately created, while still being very satisfying. Could not recommend this place enough if you are looking for culinary excellence.

We loved Jorge’s. Friendly welcome from charming staff. Delicious food and good advice received as to which wines to accompany all courses. Iberican pork particularly delicious. We were just visiting Norwich and were delighted to have found such a wonderful place to eat. Thank you to all who made it such a wonderful experience.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, this restaurant is a true find. Jorge and his team offer impeccable service that complements the incredible Portuguese cuisine. From the moment you walk in, you're treated to delightful flavors and a cozy ambiance. If you're looking for a unique, authentic dining experience with outstanding food, this is a must-try.
