What a gem Jorges is. The food was amazing, the menu isn't huge which is great as it's all cooked fresh to order. The staff are lovely and helpful. Definitely booking a return visit.

Excellent meal. Excellent service. Will definitely go again. Steaks were out of this world. Would definitely recommend for a special night out. Could not fault and made my husbands birthday.

Fantastic food, atmosphere and hospitality. A brilliant gem of a restaurant.

After vowing never to eat in motorway services again, we booked this meal as a stop off on our way home from the Norfolk Coast. This is exactly the reason why. The food was all absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. It's a little place with a relaxed atmosphere. Our children (6 and 8) were the only children in there but I'd recommend it for kids. The staff were lovely with them and they loved the food. They picked the prawns as their favourite tapas choice but ate a bit of everything we chose. The pork ribs and cured meats and beef croquettes were all memorable too but it was all delicious! Also.....the desserts were amazing! We are two sweet tooths and 2 not so much. We had the chocolate mousse (best chocolate mousse ever!), the custard tart (polished off by my son who had originally declared he was full) and the almond tart with lavender ice cream. I'm one of the sweet tooths. The almond tart was not overly sweet and made me feel like a grown-up as a result. It reminded me a little of peanut brittle, but won't break you teeth. And my husband (who had a double expresso instead of dessert) happily mineswept whatever he was allowed. We basked in the glory of our excellent decision for the following 3 hour drive home.

We have been here a number of times.The food here is amazing we have always had the tapas the prawns ribs chicken wings lovely garlic potatoes etc. The owner and his colleagues are always friendly and helpful we shall be back.

Had a beautiful meal here with my family while visiting family in Norwich. Food was beautiful and to a really high standard. We ate in a Tuesday at the tapas night. Service was good, prompt and friendly. Staff had a really good knowledge of what they were serving and were able to answer some of our questions about wine. The atmosphere was great too. I would 100% recommend this to people who rate good quality ingredients and like to support local small businesses

I am more than happy to write a review for this beautiful restaurant. Upon entering, immense warmth was given from our gentle, knowledgeable and caring waitress, who explained the menu to us and answered our questions. The food was delightful, the wine superb and the atmosphere was perfect within this little hidden gem. One word of advice for anyone who visits (and you really should), order a side as the portions are not large, but what is it again, ahh yes...quality over quantity!! Enjoy. ps there is a taster menu in June, looks fabulous!!

I had lunch at Jorges restaurant on Good Friday. This is the third time I visited Jorges and once again there was a good atmosphere, prompt service and excellent food. I brought my sister here and we were most impressed with our tapas lunch. Delicious ! We will be back ! Many thanks Caroline

The best meal I have had in Norwich, we had 3 starters and the steak sharing platter. Absolutely brilliant from the minute we walked in. Will come again. Brilliant

This is our go to restaurant everytime we can afford to. Absolutely love the food, the relaxed atmosphere and service. I had the chargrilled prawns and squid on Saturday eve and it is easily the closest to eating out in Portugal you can get. The whole family loves eating here, hope to be back before too long.

Visited Jorge's on Thursday for lunch with my husband and my brother. Excellent tapas as always. Have been there several times now and will be back again.

I never normally write reviews but this was such a fantastic experience. Delicious food (every tapas dish was gorgeous, and then to top it off the desserts were so good, I had two!). It's a lovely intimate environment but still you feel private at your table. Fantastic service, very genuine. Lovely mix of dishes, really like having an authentic Portuguese experience. As soon as I'm not pregnant I'll go back to enjoy the wine! And I think it's recently priced, portion sizes for tapas were good. My mum and I had a great lunch and I can't recommend this highly enough.

Very good food in a small intimate restaurant with friendly knowledgeable staff. On a short city break to Norwich we felt that we couldn't have chosen anywhere better than Jorge's.

Really good quality food, nice friendly atmosphere, staff were informative, attentive, and willing to help. Not the cheapest food, but the quality made it worth it. Will be going again.
