Not the first time we have eaten at Jorge's so we knew that we were going to be in for another good evening. Jorge's is not the largest of restaurants so is well suited to small groups and intimate meals. On this visit every group was 2 or 3 people. The visit started with us having to change the original booking when one of our party pulled out with illness. This presented no problem. We arrived 10 minutes early and were escorted to our table by their friendly staff. Drinks were ordered and quickly arrived with some olives and garlic bread. The food was was excellent: well presented, arriving at regular times and was extremely tasty. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. Jorge's is not the cheapest of restaurants but we certainly don't mind paying for quality - and Jorge's does give you quality. We shall return in the near future. Well worth visiting.

Fabulous menu with a lovely variety of meats, fish and wine that is clearly thought through to give the best experience of Portuguese cuisine. We had the seafood with rice and it was beautifully cooked and presented, and tasted amazing. The wine list was extensive and the staff were very attentive and helpful in giving advice to help you select your choices. Will definitely go back.

This was my second visit, a Tuesday, a tapas night. It was simply fabulous. The food was delicious, prompt, and filling. I am a veggie and the choice was sensational, while my fellow diners had an eye-watering variety of meat and fish. But it was the service I loved the most. Our hostess was everything you could ask for ... helpful, friendly, attentive, informative and she always had time for us. We talked about everything and those interactions made the evening. Loved it.

Excellent all rounder - fabulous independent restaurant serving delicious food cooked & served by friendly, attentive staff who are knowledgeable about the menus. Well worth a visit.

A small independent restaurant. Portuguese, marvellous. Cervice then Iberico pork, and replete, so no dessert. My first visit, unlikely to be my last. Terrific wine list, though I was driving/ shame. Attentive not intrusive staff. All in all a lovely intimate experience.

Good food, slightly different to other restaurants, hence why we come. Tasty, well cooked food, lots of variety. Staff are helpful and efficient. We have been a few times before and will go back again!

We arrived early and they found us a table straight away, the food had my taste buds singing. The service was faultless and the waitress even helped us decide which wine would compliment our meal and it sure did, even my wife's steak was cooked perfectly, she loved it and the desserts were out of this world. Will definitely be going again.

My partner and I started with an outstanding seafood platter for two, paired with a deliciously fruity Portuguese green wine with a dry finish. We were welcomed into a cosy and inviting restaurant which, while dimly lit, offered an energising venue for lively conversation. It's certainly not stuffy, nor is it uncomfortably loud. They've got the vibe we wanted 100%. Service was subtle and attentive the whole way through; it exemplified the naturality you'll find in a city like Porto, this is in the air at Jorge's. Extremely delighted also with the lime and basil sorbet. Unusual yet decidedly not unexcellent. Recommend highly. Keen to return, simply fantástico.

Ate from the lunch menu and it was amazing. Can't wait to go for dinner in the future. Service was spot on and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A new favourite in Norwich.

What an amazing restaurant! Food, wine & service excellent.

My dear friend took me to Jorges for a birthday treat on Saturday lunchtime . The team were attentive but not overly so , pleasant , friendly and took time to explain dishes , wines and so forth. So we went with the managers recommendations and had beautiful fresh tapas a- six different dishes followed by a cheese board and desert. It was all just perfect. Yes the restaurant is small and that is just what we wanted, it allows for conversation. There was music in the background and the sounds of the kitchen which we loved. We will be back.

A lovely place in the centre of Norwich. Really couldn't fault the food or service. We did feel that bread could have been included with our tapas to "mop up". We asked for some but were charged extra for 4 very thin slices of baguette, but don't let this put you off!

Had a wonderful experience at Jorge's. Friendly atmosphere, incredible food and service, and they went above and beyond to make something that hadn't been on the menu.
