This was our first visit to Jorges & it was excellent! The food was absolutely delicious & the service was really friendly & welcoming. We would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant to others & look forward to going back for another lovely evening.

We finally managed to book a table here and boy was it worth the wait. We'd never tried Portuguese food before but it won't be too long before we're back to try more dishes. Staff recommendations on what sides and drinks paired with our choices were excellent and we had a wonderful evening

A great meal as always with excellent Portuguese wine. Always take Jorge’s advice on this. Attentive, efficient service. Not cheap but worth every penny.

Another great meal at Jorges, always friendly along with wonderful food. A lovely intimate venue for a night out as a couple or a small group. Booking is a must as Jorges is popular!

Lovely to try a new restaurant so glad I’ve found it Took our 20 something kids as a family meal We all loved it Portions looked smallish but soon filledyou up Authentic delicious food We did have to wait a little for table as a busy time of year but the staff and food soon made up for it Definitely go back Yummy different puddings too -thank you

An excellent meal and a lovely evening. Friendly welcome and great service. Nice atmosphere in this small gem in the heart of Norwich. Our starters were very tasty - clams with oodles of garlic and octopus with onion etc which was brilliant. We shared a fish and shellfish catalplana for the main course which was fabulous and more than enough to satisfy two! Coffee and a Portuguese custard pastry for dessert . Plus some lovely Portuguese white wine. Thanks to Jorge for creating a lovely authentic Portuguese experience. We hope to be back soon.

We come to Jorge for years and it has not change quality at all over these years. My mother loves a fish cataplana and they have wonderful meats as well. I love the understated service ( lovely and quiet without being in your face) , wine selection is very good. We had a blast with our friends yesterday. I really enjoyed it and felt really good after that.

This was our first visit, but it definitely won’t be our last. This is such a beautiful, authentic and atmospheric restaurant. It’s our new favourite. The food was incredible and so moorish (we wanted to return the very next day!) The service was so professional, warm and welcoming. Jorge is the perfect host. We have already re-booked and can’t wait to return.

We live in manningtree and travel to Norwich just to eat in this restaurant probably the nicest food I've eaten food is so tasty staff lovely

Had the most amazing sharing fish platter with extra garlic potatoes The food was perfect I had a lovely rose wine to accompany the dish and it was very tasty Thank you chefs

We had a lovely evening. The food was good, especially the prawns and the Portuguese custard tarts....❤️the wine excellent. There were vegan options that were well cooked. The atmosphere and service were both great

Exceptional quality food prepared with appropriate care resulting in a fantastic meal. Very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating staff made the experience all the more pleasurable. Will definitely be back.
