One of Norwich's best kept secrets: in addition to the fab Portuguese restaurant in Red Lion St there is also a tapas bar in the old kitchenware store space now beautifully revamped. The original Bifana sandwich is the best meat take away dish in the City. Ridiculously tasty. Go!
Jorges Tasca – Norwichit was the second time I have been to Jorges after attending with my 7 year old daughter previously I highly recommended the restaurant to my friends we had a lads night and tried various starters and surf and turf mains everything was absolutely perfect we will be back and I ill continue to recommend.

I have been a couple of times and the food is lovely with fresh ingredients, well cooked and well paced. Portions are neither small more large thus enabling a well balanced meal across 2-3 course.

We had the chefs platter which had a great selection of sushi and was plenty for two people. The staff were very attentive but not at all intrusive, the service was at exactly the right balance. My husband is disabled and they looked after him very well. We stayed near Norwich primarily so that we could have dinner here and we weren't disappointed. We will be back.

Vegan diet superbly catered at this restaurant which offers great value for money. Gorgeous food in a delightfully intimate setting (whether inside or out) with fantastic staff/service. Jorges Restaurant – Norwich4th time eating here and yet again, incredible. My husband had a pork ramen which was delicious, the rainbow roll and spicy tuna roll were fab and the soft shell crab Tokyo tower was something else! We’ve done the freestyle platters before and the futo maki is very impressive too. We also shared some gyozas- we arrived very hungry and left perfectly full!! Service brilliant and atmosphere lovely. See you soon!
