What a lovely experience - even though the weather was cold and wet the outdoor heaters worked a treat and the great food and excellent wine more than made up for the weather ! The service was excellent , very attentive and helpful and we did not have to wait to be served at any point during the meal. All the food was good but the ribs were excellent and the crime brûlée and custard pies were stars . We will definitely return and will recommend to others .

We have come here many times, sometimes for lunch and other times for dinner and I must say, we have never been disappointed!! Everything on the menu is delicious, the Francesenia during Lunch being one of my all times favourites and the Octopus during dinner. We highly recommend, Jorge and staff are friendly, charming and rather adorable and no words can decide the taste of the food other than perhaps perfection.

An evening visit having to be outside due to restrictions. Table for 6 in courtyard. Actually although only 8 degrees the heaters were great and even had to take coat off As always food was exceptional, as was the service. Not the cheapest, but you pay for quality which is what you get. Will be back again soon. Madagascan prawns are something else.

Despite the cold, we had a lovely evening at Jorges. A very warm welcome and the outside heaters went a long way to defeat the cold wind. Totally charming staff and the Belly Pork in a Bairrada pepper sauce was amazing.

Lovely meal at Jorge, service was very good, attentive but not too much. Food was excellent well presented and very tasty. Good amount of choice on the menu for all courses. 2nd visit and there will be many more .

What a great set up. I was a little worried about eating outside but the team at Jorges have made the space intimate and welcoming. The twinkling lights, wall heaters and smells from the kitchen make this outdoor dining experience almost magical as the sun sets. We drank the Oscars Red and tried a selection of starters (personal favorite was the chorizio). For main we got a sharing platter and it did not disappoint - prawns were soo juicy and the meat was perfectly cooked. Sadly we didnt have room for pudding but will be returning soon to sample. 5* review from us

The food is delicious, so fresh and innovative. The atmosphere is friendly and caring. The staff are attentive but not ‘in your face’ so you feel relaxed and well looked after. Jorges is one of our favourite places to eat out and we can’t wait till we can return with friends.

Food was incredible. The service was just right. Atmosphere was fabulous with heater's for each table and sat in a lovely lit courtyard. We could of been in Portugal. It was perfect. Highly recommended.

Visited again this evening, after my first visit last year, will stick to my resolution this time! Never to visit this establishment again. We ordered starters which were OK, but nothing special, then out came 3 main courses which at best were diabolical! Mixed grill and steak meals were dried up and unappealing, with the peas resembling mini canon balls. As for the chicken melt, ....... Chicken cremation was more appropriate.It was dry, over cooked tastless mess on a plate, without any thought to presentation. The only reason it became edible was to smother in mayo, and add coleslaw to jacket potato. Total disappointment

Called in last night very pleasant greeting and superb cod and chips.
