I have been there third time I love it cos gluten free is brilliant can choices I love tiny cottage very pretty look. Upstairs is ok bit cold and I don’t think not cosy . Definitely down stairs lovely warm specially winter. And also the staffs so friendly and their very well take with deaf ware… definitely we coming back again I like easy to access online to booking table. once again thank you so much

My daughter and I very much enjoyed lunch at Mistal at the weekend. It was a beautiful day and it was very busy. However, we were looked after very well, seated quickly (we had booked) and were served with very tasty food by friendly staff in rustic surroundings. It was our first visit but we shall certainly return.

Love this place. Nice, simple, good value vegetarian brunch. And good cake.

We found the staff very polite and the service good however we felt that the eggs Benedict was expensive for what was served. The cakes were delicious but also quite pricey. Quaint cafe .

We really enjoyed this place. We arrived in a group who had various dietary requirements, we had two dogs, and a young baby and this place accommodated us all very well! The food was great and we'll definitely be coming back.

Really loved our brunch. We tried the new eggs Benedict on hash browns. It was utterly delicious. Coffee is amazing and the service was excellent. A really wonderful little place and a perfect stop after a dog walk on the Chevin!

Lovely rustic barn setting for delicious brunch and lunch with some imaginative vegetarian options. Great coffee too - the Guinness and chocolate cake was a revelation! Friendly staff with quick service and dog friendly. My new favourite place for brunch / lunch coffee and cake.

Came for brunch yesterday and were very impressed with the quality of the food. Delicious! And vegetarians in the party very happy. Great choice, and as other reviews have said, something a bit different. The Japanese spicy chips were an extra big hit with everyone!

The space is lovely and welcoming and the staff are really nice but the only thing that spoiled it (for me) was the music was far too loud and intrusive. I couldn’t concentrate properly and had to leave. I realise this is down to individual tastes, and some people like music on while they work, but it definitely didn’t seem like ‘background’ music, it was like the music was ‘the thing’ instead of the peacefulness of a lovely cafe.

Lovely rustic atmosphere, small rooms ensuring a level of seclusion with outdoor eating in the farmhouse kitchen courtyard. Turkish eggs to die for and small batch in-house ice-cream very creamy and full of inspired flavours
