We had the Early Bird menu. Both dishes were fresh and well cooked. Simple dishes.The vegetables were beautifully cooked and presented on a separate dish. Both sauces were delicious and just the right consistency, that includes the custard which came with the desert. Only small grumble was that the lamb was advertised as sauted potatoes with rosemary, but came as new potatoes roasted in the oven....earlier in the day. Would definitely recommend

Fabulous meal and atmosphere. The staff was amazing too. We found this restaurant by chance and what a find, loved it thank you.

Excellent service, fantastic food. We have been in the area on holidays 4 times, we book this for sunday lunch everytime and will continue to do so. Well recommend you pay them a visit.

Lovely evening. I had scallops as a starter and half lobster thermidor for a main. Both cooked to perfection. Staff were attentive but not over the top. Nice atmosphere in restaurant. Many regulars. Nice location in Tremadog.

What a fabulous venue. The food, the service and ambience was first class. It’s been a long, long time since I enjoyed such value for money - will be back very soon.

I could say, it’s all been said, but I’ll say it anyway: A very friendly restaurant, beautifully cooked food - I had duck and my husband lamb, with apple tart and crème brûlée to follow. The best evening. Thank you Y Sgwar! We will certainly return when next in the area.

Throughly enjoyable evening in a great atmosphere with friendly efficient service and excellent food. The lounge area and restaurant both have a lovely relaxed ambiance even when busy.

We were greeted by friendly faces with a pleasant demeanour to a well appointed restaurant with lots of ambience and atmosphere, on a busy Friday evening. We were attended to very efficiently with lovely seafood dishes, which were, although not abundant in volume, were delicious. After having beautifully put together and tasty desserts, we were well satisfied. A lovely meal and evening.

Fabulous isn't enough. A very impressive menu and it definitely delivered. Lots of delicious vegan and vegetarian options (we recommend the 'duck' starter!) Incredible. Staff were very friendly and personable made you feel very welcome. Nothing was to much to ask. If we visit this part of Wales again we will most definitely be back and recommend to anyone coming to the area. 5 STARS

Excellent on all accounts. Service was friendly & professional. Food was superb & both our lamb & duck dishes were cooked as per request, pink. Most varied menu. Sadly we don't reside locally as we'd come back more often.

Searched for a restaurant and liked the reviews for this one. Wasn't disappointed! Welcomed an seated quickly. Attentive waiting staff. We would come again should we be up.this way again! Food was superb, my friends steak almost melted in her mouth, my other friend and I had the lamb, again, cooked perfectly! Desserts were divine ✨️

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The food was so well cooked and presented. The front of house guy in a bright shirt was just so friendly and I wish we’d booked again as it was so good. Recommend to anyone living close or visiting.

Fantastic food Fantastic service 10 out of 10 from the minute we walked in the whole night was faultless. We emailed before hand with a complex dietary requirement for one of us to cater for and they were faultless. They had read our email and addressed our needs with no fuss and produced a lovely meal. The manager was outstanding and our waitress who was a farmers daughter was a breath of fresh air and superb, would highly recommend definantly the best place to eat in the area and looking forward to returning.

We had an absolutely amazing Sunday lunch; the food was of a very high standard. However, we were also hugely impressed by the exemplary service - courteous, attentive and consistently warm and amiable We can’t wait to visit again and hopefully savour the a l carte menu on the next occasion.

We had a fantastic experience here last night. From the moment we arrived to when we left the service was amazing and the atmosphere really lovely. The food was fantastic- everything we ate was beautifully cooked and presented. We were recommended by a friend from home who said if we were ever in Porthmadog we should visit - we weren’t disappointed! We will definitely visit again.
