Visited on a Monday at 6.30, Perfect in every way. Very clean, nice atmosphere not over crowded or rushed empty plates removed within seconds all food was hot, tasty and a wide selection of foods and sweets (puddings) Visited with 3 others (1st timers) who all now want to go again

Havnt been here in a long while and took my 9yrs old nuerodiverse daughter she ate more food than I've ever seen as it met ever criteria of a fussy eater without the pressure of a ordered meal. My parnter and I really enjoyed the experience, the food and value for money. Staff were polite, attentive and efficient. We shall be returning for sure.

We were pleasantly surprised -the food was delicious. Unfortunately we were almost put off by the curt, borderline rude, "greeting" we received from front of house. This was overturned by the friendly staff inside the restaurant. A bit pricey, and the 10% discount for teachers and NHS staff was not enjoyed as it was a Saturday.

This was a visit with my wife and sister in law on her birthday. From the time we arrived, we were treated by the staff in a polite, professional and considerate way. The food was amazing, all fresh and hot. This was an excellent evening, please continue what you are doing and I look forward to visiting again soon

Had a lovely time for my birthday. The food was great and the staff removed empty plates quickly and were polite. I do think it is quite pricey.

Amazing atmosphere with hard working workers . Your empty plate or not used plate is collected quickly , the cleanliness levels are pristine the food is glorious and overall it’s an amazing experience . The only thing I would say the price is a tiny bit too high especially when there could be a big family I feel you could maybe do a deal for the more people you bring other than that it’s perfect.

I was a little disappointed if I’m honest. I have been here several times to eat and always enjoyed it, but on this occasion it was really lacking in quality and choice. Crispy shredded duck was pork, there was no steak available due to something not working! There was no refills of the chips (despite being told they are cooking for 45 min!) and the pizza was burnt so my children wouldn’t eat it. I felt there was far less choice than normal and just generally not worth the money. Music played the same 4 songs on repeat and very loudly making it hard to talk at the table. Sadly I don’t feel I will be returning with my family.

I have booked yesterday for 6 people at Portsmouth Spoon World Buffet, 26th December at 5: 30pm. I have received a booking confirmation by email. When we went there we found it was closed! That was shocking.

Brilliant food, lovely place nice staff 100% going again

Really disappointed which is a shame as brought a few friends this time. After I told them my visit earlier in the year was great. The first 45 minutes of service wasn't too bad but the food options were duplicated several times or unavailable and not labelled, the food we did have was barely warm! We were told we had 90 minutes at our table but just before 60 minutes were up we were ushered to go and get dessert..what dessert? Barely any left..nothing labelled and with 1 vegetarian and another person with a nut allergy in our group this wasn't OK! Staff were barely to be seen, apart from when we went to get a crepe to be told sorry! The price we paid for the food and service we received was not acceptable and we all left feeling disappointed after an end to a great day! We couldn't speak to anyone on the way out about our visit because they were all at the back of the room eating!! Quite ironic really. Really dislike to write a bad review, but unfortunately this time it is definitely needed.

Food was delicious and great price .
