Generally love the food! However had a few issues ordering for them to deliver as a few time issues with incorrect sandwiches and on different bread ect. When I have rang to advise the lady has been rude and abrupt with me and said "thanks for the feed back" In an extremely sarcastic tone! They have not barred me from ordering? so the general consensus seems to be your feed back isn't taken on board and your certainly not entitled to give any if it isn't 100 positive! Recently my friend who owns a hair salon has been barred from ordering to after giving her feedback very politely but asking if anything can be done for the issues they have had. BEWARE!

Best restaurant I have been to. My favourite place for a Korma. Prices are very reasonable. Takeaway service is fantastic too. Pleasant and friendly staff. All in all a great restaurant that I highly recommend.

Never easy getting a table here at weekends which I guess is the sign of a good restaurant. The place has a really warm and welcoming buzz to it which is partly down to the simple, rustic decor and plenty down to Moses, the friendly Spanish owner who handles front-of-house. There’s paella, of course, plus a rib of beef that comes sliced on a wooden board which is to die for. Lots of other dishes to work your way through both from the main menu and the specials board.

Sunday Lunch at the Poulton Elk .....Told to not touch the plates as they were hot ....they weren't - they were cold as was the whole meal - tough roast beef, that tasted as tho it had been cooked, then stored in a pantry, (not a fridge!), and tasted stale- my shoe leather would have been easier to eat - bullet type Yorkshire puddings that the knife would not cut, pre-frozen warmed up veg and tinned garden peas!! - asked if I would like it heated up - I do not eat warmed up food - asked for my money back and did not re-order anything - was given a complimentary cup of coffee - wow actually was warm ...... Will not be recommending or returning anytime soon - eating area is a somewhat "upper class staff canteen" complete with the noise and unruly children running about everywhere! Should have known better really! Moral - you get exactly what you pay for - perhaps Weatherspoons think it is ok to offer pre-frozen, pre cooked food that has been warmed up to a very poor standard - but beware not good value for money wholesome food - staff entirely indifferent to my complaint! Emailed Weatherspoon head office following my visit - no response or feedback received - that was 3-weeks ago!

Pulci Pizza, what can I say. Great casual dining venue. Just what Poulton needed.

Had never dined at Maya before. Partly because it’s that handful of yards away from the centre of Poulton and partly because you don’t really know it’s there (the other Poulton Indians have a bigger frontage and are in the strip between the station and the Thatched House). Anyway, that was rectified this week after seeing the discount voucher on Sugarvine. We thought we would give Maya a try and were very pleased we did. The food was excellent with lots of new dishes (to us) and a colour coding scheme that made very clear what you might be in for in terms of spicing! It had a nice ambience and we will certainly be going back now we have discovered this place. I would say there are only five or six tables downstairs with the rest up above so if you want a downstairs table I would book it in advance or get there early.

Mmmmm the food on a whole was ok but the service and the wait was unacceptable. Very dissatisfied and the livers were over cooked. Not a good experience.
