Was I just unlucky? - I read the reviews which all appeared to be good, so ordered a takeaway on Sunday 4th March 2012 at 7.30, was told it would not be ready until 8.30 (and hours wait) - but decided to go ahead and asked for it to be delivered. It arrived at 8.45 and was just 'lukewarm' - We started with salt and chilli ribs which were very bland and dry plus the pork toast was soggy cold and tasted of very little. For the main course we ordered sweet and sour chicken (not brilliant) Red Thai chicken curry which was excellent, but the duck with garlic and pepper was very disappointing - two lots of rice and one of noodles, the bill came to £27.25 (including delivery of £1.50) which i thought was expensive for what we got - all in all not a good experience

Had our first meal at this great place.. Beautiful, although have to say felt rushed and was asked to move after finishing our meals. Wanted to stay and drink more wine but seating could not allow us... Shame..

Had first meal at Pulchi last night, I loved the food, the seafood pasta was delicious. Will definitely be returning for more. I loved the ambiance of the place too.

food was ok,but this is not a Cyprus kebab no where near and reason being is the owners are not Cypriot ,they are Turkish cypriot,total different food .

Visited Gennars tonight for the first time hoping for a lovely Italian meal - not disappointed at all!! The Calamari starter, I believe, was excellent. The chicken stuffed with Feta 'special' starter was tasty. slightly dry but still really enjoyable.

5 of us had a great meal here on Saturday night. Alex passion for food is enormous. he sources some of his produce for small villages in italy and his pizzas and pastas are sublime. He also has a good range of starters. the place is always buzzing and its recommended that you book well in advance. he also does takeaway on most of the menu. ill definitely be going back.

I've eaten at the castle gardens a couple of times over the last 6 weeks. On one occasion it was for my son's 18th birthday. There were 19 in our party eating at tea time the Saturday before Christmas. Everyone had starters

The best restaurant in Poulton, the food is delicious and my and my family enjoyed a warming, lovely meal at Gennars. I would recommend this place!

Want to find a food heaven then book early.The place is run well organised captain at the helm. Just pop in for a coffee and you will be hooked. Cheers.

Experience was let down by crazy price of a glass of soda water! Cheaper to have a beer. Food good and most staff good but female waitress didn't seem to get customer service.

Another kindergarten. Caters for kids whos parents do not care how much noise or annoyance it causes to the rest of the public . But its a public house ? so grown ups do not matter. Will not go again . Is there a public house where grown ups can go and have a quiet drink without children been in the near vicinity?

What a fantastic night. Everything perfect -- the food, service, atmosphere, the music and the wine . I can't wait to take my family again. I call a perfect restaurant !!!!!!!

We went for my mums birthday. we were a little disappointed with the lack of flavours in the food. I wouldn't rush back.

went for a birthday celebration as my favourite Indian has closed down, a mutual friend recommended Maya to us, I was before arriving deciding that it would not be as good as the Indian which i had regularly visited for over 23 years, however WOW i was blown away the food was delicious and equally as good as my favourite Indian, service was fantastic, lovely clean linen on the tables, the staff looked like they could do with cheering up a bit, but on the whole the evening was fantastic, i would recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes a good Indian - FANTASTIC !

Just had my first meal at Pulci Pizza on the recommendation of my friend...what a lovely place, fantastic atmosphere, amazing food, wonderful friendly, welcoming staff - an excellent owner who showed time and commitment to his guests and certainly knew his dishes well...a pearl of a place to eat - can't wait to go back...thank you PP!!!!! x
