After booking weeks for 16 people for a Saturday night, we arrived at the restaurant to find it full and that our party could not be accommodated. No reasonable explanation given from the staff, however it would seem they'd been greedy and given our table to people that had come in off the street. Very poor management, we will not be recommending this restaurant to others. Luckily we were able to get into another restaurant in Poulton to celebrate our friends birthday.

I took my wife into the Mews for a nice romantic meal and we were very disappointed , the service we received was in no other word but ignorant, and obnoxious. The food was JUST about average, the only smile we received during the whole night was when we paid, we will never be setting foot inside this back street restaurant again !!!

Been twice now, couldn't believe the standard , taste and value of this bistro. service is by far second to none. peroni beers the best. can't wait for next meal out there.

I agree with the comments. It's a great place - food and service is excellent and price compared to other Italians restaurants in Poulton is very reasonable. I've been several times and also ordered take away. I love the buzz and the atmosphere and would definitely recommend to friends.

Went for a birthday meal here recently, not been for ages. There was good choice on the menu, I went for the Gammon which was fine, and the pineapple was nicely charred. The steaks looked nice, as did the mixed grill. My niece had a burger which looked good, and they served the big chips in some kind of loaf tin. The pudding was a little disappointing, raspberry cheesecake, as it was a little over fruity for me, but the others looked good. I'd say Castle Gardens is good for a lazy lunch, but not one to recommend for a special occasion.

Your restaurant is ace love egg fried rice and loads of other cool and yummy dishes service is brill I love that most of you are Chinese and I am learning Chinese myself ! all the best Oliver x

Gennar Italian Restaurant Poulton Le Fylde - Excellent! white Rioja, Fegatini alla Veneziana, chicken liver starter, Vitello Provencale - Veal cooked in a mushroom, onion, garlic, tomato and cream sauce. [Served with potatoes and vegetables of the day], tiramisu (home made - absolutely to die for...!) - £19.70 per head... bargain!

Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants on the Fylde Coast, have eaten food differing from Prawns, tuna and scallops to the duck, chicken and beef currys, can recommend it all. The take away is just as good. if you like thai food you have to come here.

this is a top class Indian restaurant, having tried numerous others as far as Blackburn, plus having built the new extension i can assure anyone that the kitchen was always immaculate and the staff polite and welcoming, i would definitely recommend trying this restaurant, also if you are unsure what to try then the staff will always help / recommend a suitable choice. enjoy

We have been there lots of times, food always very good. Not recommended to go if quiet , as staff hover over you so to me that is not relaxing. Banquet is amazing but low and behold if you are not having it !! You will be told or in are case nearly charged extra. My only fault with China Red is the toilets the ladies sinks are disgusting, with all the staff hovering over us, why can't one be cleaning the toilet!!!!!! Would still go back - but not as often as the rest of the family would like to.

If you are looking for polite service I would not recommend Bistro Italia the food was ok but the service was not! We had not been asked whether we would like dessert when the waiter asked how long it would be before we would be asking for the bill as he had some friends who were wanting a table! (our table was 7.30 and we were home by 9.15pm) How rude we will not be returning and will ensure we tell our friends and family about this experience which spoilt our evening.

Very attractive restaurant. The new upstairs room is lovely - good for private functions or quiet intimate meals. Food is faultless and the staff are a delight. Wine a little pricey but who drinks wine with Indian food !

NEVER AGAIN shallI go to China Red, the food made my bowels move quiet quickly after eating the food and feeling rather green round the gills, But the sheer rudeness of the staff and management was something to be left less desired. I will personally not recommend this restaurant to any of my friends as i was supposed to be going here for my Christmas staff meal I'm afraid this will now not be happening now.......

After reading several good reviews for this restaurant I thought my work friends and I would try it out, I am afraid to say I feel as if I had been to a entirely different restaurant from that I read about. Don't get me wrong i can not fault the food but the customer service was so poor I would not subject anyone to the same experience i had. Firstly we ordered drinks before our food, as one of my work friends are diabetic we had to order Diet Coke, This is were the complaints started. The coke tasted like it needed the gas changing as it was flat and vile to taste, after we made this aware to their staff we were told to basically deal with it, After several minutes they exchanged the drink for another BUT they charged for the exchange. After this incident we swiftly left the restaurant due to the rudeness and sheer arrogance of their staff members, on leave my friends was violently sick in view of the restaurant, we made the staff aware of this fact and we were told " It is not our food it is your own body, Complain about us, we don't care". This is ridiculous. Over all I would not send anyone here, The only pleasant experience was the Water feature. I shall be following my complaint up and inform the council of this affair.

The staff made it a very bad night as they could not of been more rude, The food made it worse as the party of us was very ill after eating there. As I work in front of house my self I do know what i am talking about. I will never go there again. We was over charged so if you do go please do not make a complaint as they do not take it well and do turn rude.,
