Mews Thai – Poulton-Le-FyldeI went to Saffron just before Christmas for my birthday night out and we had a lovely night. It was booked late but staff did everything they could to squeeze us in and we weren't disappointed. The waiters and managers were really helpful and attentive and were more than happy to recommend different dishes. Service was quick and efficient and the food was lovely. It is reasonably priced and in a good location within Poulton. I would definitely recommend, it's my favourite restaurant for miles.
Saffron – Poulton-Le-FyldeExcellent food, Excellent atmosphere, Excellent staff. Saffron is the place to eat in Poulton. We have recommended Saffron to people and family and friends when they come up from around the country always want an Indian from Saffron. Highly Recommended to both the inexperienced curry eater, and the experienced. You fancy something with a little more heat the staff will endeavour to please.
Saffron – Poulton-Le-FyldeWe have visited the shard riverside inn a few times since we moved into the area, and each time has been a pleasure, the food and its service is first class, I am inclined to agree though that the bar service is a little surly, could do with someone behind there who isn't afraid to smile.
Shard Riverside Inn – Poulton-Le-FyldeVery bad. I sent my food back three times and I got no apology. It was very expensive and the cook constantly shouted at the waitress. I would not recommend this cafe at all.
Salt of the Earth – Poulton-Le-FyldeI got food poisoning from the first time I went. I also bought some bread which was stale. I will never go back again, but my friend did and said the food was horrible and the music was horrific. Very unhappy.
Salt of the Earth – Poulton-Le-FyldeFantastic food, great atmosphere and brilliant staff. Had an exquisite meal which was tasty, very well prepared, served and enjoyed. Staff couldn't do enough for you HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!! A+++
Saffron – Poulton-Le-FyldeOn a girls' night out, booked Saffron for a change. The 5 of us varied, from me, as a regular visitor to Indian restaurants who tries many different dishes and likes my dishes spicy, to 2 fairly inexperienced,1 very inexperienced and 1 who thought she didn't like Indian food, but who was converted. The food was lovely, I had a taste of most and everything was really good.On a Saturday night, the place was very busy, but . the service was very attentive, even to the point of asking us if we wanted to change tables when the party next to us were a little (but not unduly or offensively so) boisterous. The prices were reasonable and I would definitely pay another visit.
Saffron – Poulton-Le-Fyldeexcellent cuisine, great fresh food friendly service and a good selection i always opt for the special kebab with the homemade chillin sauce with is nice and hot!!i have these every week naughty lol
Cyprus TakeAway – Poulton-Le-FyldeHaving just got back from a grown up lads weekend in Blackpool i have to say what a fantastic meal i had with my friends last Friday. The recommendation to go to China Red away from the main drag of Blackpool was spot on. Generous portions, charming service and great atmosphere. Anyone on an away trip in the Blackpool area should put this on your list of must go there. Terry from essex.
China Red – Poulton-Le-FyldeWent here on Friday night for dinner with some friends. We all sat on the floor upstairs (Well on the cushion sheets provided) and all had a lovely meal. I think next time I will sit at a table, as sitting on the floor was fun but not very practical & not that comfy. The food was good & service excellent.
Mews Thai – Poulton-Le-Fyldehighcross (harvester) is discusting, the manager allows his dogs to walk through the kichen from time to time, he treats his staff like shit aswell as his customers, it is appalling the way it is managed, the only good thing is that the staff try their best to make each customer happy and the manager will go over and put them down, there for the standards of service and food quality drop. i will be putting a report in the local paper especially after the way that i was treated by the manager.
High Cross – Poulton-Le-FyldeI was in poulton with my partner and decided to try saffron..So glad we did.The staff were fantastic and the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning to eat there again and again.
Saffron – Poulton-Le-FyldeGreat food, Good Service. Overall Brilliant Indian.
Saffron – Poulton-Le-FyldeMe and my partner go here alot for the banquet. Its a bit hit and miss to be honest, it depends how busy it is. If its busy expect some food to be cold and feeling a bit rushed. But if its not the food is excellent and worth your money...
China Red – Poulton-Le-FyldeExcellent food and staff really friendly,Price was wonderful Will definitely return and bring friends along, thanks for a great night.
Bistro Italia – Poulton-Le-FyldeAlthough I live close by Poulton, this was my first meal at Mews Thai. It's on the little lane behind the church and is cafe-style downstairs and traditional Thai above with floor-level seating. The wife wasn't up for a meal sitting on the floor so we stayed downstairs and enjoyed a lovely meal. I had the spicy beef salad and yellow curry, the wife had pad Thai and it was all very authentic, especially so washed down with a bottle of Singha beer. Recommended.
Mews Thai – Poulton-Le-FyldeFood was fantastic, Beer expensive and the staff were brilliant apart from one waitress who made us feel a little uncomfortable when we asked to try a few dishes off the banquet menu,Would possibly go there again in the future.
