Food was great and service friendly One negative table of 6 behind us had a dog and it was sitting on the bench with it's head on the table No objection with dogs being in the restaurant but that's not acceptable

Visited for brunch. Great selection of food and everything we ordered was really tasty. The service was great, staff really nice and attentive.

Our Sunday roat beef dinner was gorgeous and very tasty. Quick servive and very friendly staff. We be going again soon.

We visited on a day when the weather was very bad and the place was quiet. However staff busy chatting to one another and not paying attention to customers-had to shout to attract staff and go to the counter after a long wait! And as is usual today, staff do not LISTEN and bring the wrong order!

A group of 9 of us made to feel welcome, staff were wonderful. Absolute brilliant evening with amazing food

Booked a table on NYE didn’t want a big meal so I had prawn sandwich and my friend the cheese pie. All lovely ,chips were good and the service was excellent

Delicious meal on New Year’s Eve lunchtime. Beef bourguignon and Sunday roast, honey roast ham, both cooked to perfection. Will definitely go again!!

My meal was FANTASTIC. Service was great. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend. I've been a few times. Always v good, but yesterday Christmas lunch was quite exceptional.

Beautiful food as always. Have yet to find a dish that they don't do well. Nice relaxed and friendly atmosphere. What more could you want?

Excellent food, lovely staff, nice surroundings

Quality of food was excellent and service was efficient, although we did wait rather a long time for the food once ordered.

Me and my partner have been visiting this pub for a long time, food has always been insane BUT, unfortunately tonight, which we hadn’t visited for a month or so, there has been a huge change. We both ordered two Sunday dinners (one beef and one lamb) took around half an hour to come. The food arrived and the beef was chewy and gristly and the lamb was cold. There was a tiny broccoli on there and two chewy roast potatoes (a dinner cost £16.50) and the cauliflower cheese we ordered separate wasn’t cooked and had dumped runny cheese on the top. My partner complained and the waitress was so rude, she didn’t even acknowledge a lot of what we was complaining about! The waitress took my boyfriends plate away and said she would change this but never changed mine. My boyfriends came back in better condition and was at a better quality for the price we paid but mine was still like a dogs dinner, I complained again and the waitress ignored me and walked off! Such a shame as it’s always been lovely. The owner did come over in the end and apologise, but this was still a big let down and such a shame from our past experiences.

Fabulous food, great atmosphere. Looking forward to going back next Friday already!

I came for Sunday lunch with my family. It is very difficult to find a decent roast dinner but Thyme nailed it! It was delicious. Huge Yorkshire pudding! The only suggestion I have is HOT PLATES. My food was not very hot and a hot plate would have helped. But other than this it was absolutely fabulous. Waitresses are very attentive and food was quick.
