Great atmosphere and service. Cocktails great. My friends both had duck and loved it. The cheese and onion pie was like no other and not for me, so I took it home for my hubby and he loved it

Unfortunately the service wasn't as good the usual standard. The orders were taken quick enough but after a long wait the table behind us got served first. That might sound petty but our order went in before the people behind us had been seated. When the food came it looked like it had been sat under the lamps for a while, it tasted ok. We didn't complain but I don't think I'll be going back, I've been before when it's been busy which this day wasn't and had great service so I feel disappointed by this visit

Food was lovely as always and the kids eat free offer was a nice surprise when we came to pay. The only issue was the speed of service, we sat down at 5:45, ordered one adult main and two kids meals and it was 40 minutes before they arrived. There was only one other table in aswell who had starters and mains in this time. We didn’t need to complain as the children were happily colouring but I did think it was a very long wait.

Great food, superb value and attentive service. We were really impressed. Just wish more people knew how good this place is at nighttime as it was really quiet People just seem to think it is a daytime cafe but it has so much more to offer

We had a fantastic breakfast here yesterday. All the staff were so friendly. We had the vegan breakfast and it was delicious. Will definitely be back for a breakfast and we can’t wait to come back to try an evening meal and to enjoy some cocktails. The atmosphere in the place is great too!

Had breakfast- took a little while to come but not too long and worth the wait- staff are always friendly

I always enjoy afternoon teas however I would like to see less cakes and a bit more savoury. Maybe add a small pork pie or mini quiche and take off a cake or too. This is just my preference. I enjoyed the afternoon tea all the same

I can only review the customer service which unfortunately is shocking. Booked a table over a week ago, had a reminder the night before and then six hours before our booking received an email to say it was cancelled - not explanation at the time or a reply to my email asking why it had been cancelled

We have eaten at Thyme many times and always been happy with our meal. We sometimes have chosen the Beef Bourguignon which used to be on the menu, and was always delicious, when we went in this time it was on the specials board. We both chose it for our main meal but when it arrived it didn’t taste or look like usual. It tasted and looked like a beef stew, it was ok but not near the usual standard . Bit disappointed.

The food was amazing, we chose the Prix Fixe 2 course deal which was a really great deal with good choices. We sat outside and it was like being on holiday abroad. We will definitely be returning

Myself and two friends came here for lunch yesterday. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We all chose pizzas and they were freshly made with plenty of filling. The pizzas were very large and we were able to have a box and take home eggs we couldn’t eat. The staff are lovely and looked after us very well. I would recommend Thyme

Well what can I say. Every time I dine here with my friends we are never disappointed! I bring friends here because some of them don’t live close by and have never been, so it is nice for them to try it. After myself being in hospital for quite a stint with a serious ongoing heart issue, my friend enticed me out for breakfast and I suggested to meet at Thyme. She absolutely loved it. Although my friend has been here before. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you. 5*****

I am so impressed with this restaurant. The food is great but it’s the service that makes it. Really well trained friendly staff.
