Thyme – PoultonWe have dined here a few times, the food has always been excellent, the staff very friendly, prices reasonable and it's dog friendly. What more could you ask for.
Thyme – Poulton50% off burgers and pizzas on Thursday 13th
Thyme – PoultonWith friends who had never been before… (quite fussy..) we all thoroughly enjoyed not only the meal but the dining experience also .. nice attentive staff..and very tasty food .. thanks Thyme..
Thyme – PoultonBeen here many times but it all depends on who is working in the kitchen that day. Had the mushrooms on toast for brunch, two large slices of toast and just a tiny amount of mushrooms, but disappointing for the money. Coffee is beautiful
Thyme – PoultonFood was lovely but would have preferred a couple more savoury pieces and less sweet.
Thyme – PoultonAll the family had a roast dinner, oh my goodness it's the best I've ever had, turkey, beef and vegetarian nut roast, the gravy on the turkey dinner was amazing, I've been quite a few times for meals but this meal is the best yet. Wow!! We came for my daughters birthday and for fathers day, lovely day, but please don't run out of lemons, makes all the difference to a glass of water!!
Thyme – PoultonWe have been coming to Espanol for years and usually spend every Christmas Eve here. Since having a child we have not been able to get there so a very rare night off meant we booked a table for last night. As soon as we arrived we noticed the atmosphere was not as welcoming as normal and were put on the high stools by the door to dine. We were told they had a large party in who had all the menus so could not offer us one. This large party that turned out to be just 9 people was mentioned several times to us and the table next to us and we realised they would be the main priority for the evening. We had our drinks order taken but no drinks appeared. We were given 1 menu and they came to take our order. Before we could start ordering the waitress asked if we were just ordering tapas. We said we were planning to order the chuleton- the most expensive meal on the menu. The flippant response was “our large party of 9 have just reserved them all” We did something we’ve never done before and decided to walk out. We were so disappointed with the service from the moment we walked in. The restaurant seems to lack it’s authentic charm but had more a feel of a wine bar. I can’t argue that the food is delicious as it was always my favourite and I have recommended to a lot of people. However, based on service alone we will never go there again.
Espanol – Poulton-Le-FyldeFood lovely and service was great. Could have done with a bit of music as restaurant was extremely quiet, but everything else was lovely. We had a nice evening. Thank you
Thyme – PoultonService was okay and venue is lovely but the food was really average! Only a little bit of avocado on one of the two slices of toast (not on both?!). For the same price in another restaurant you’d get avocado on both slices of nice bread, seeds/salad/seasoning on top etc. Food was lacking in flavour and needs a bit of love!
Thyme – PoultonWent for an evening meal. Great menu, lovely food, lovely wine and lovely staff. And dog friendly. Will definitely come back.
Thyme – PoultonWe had a spot of lunch for our colleagues birthdays, food was great, service was spot on and the venue was lovely.
Thyme – PoultonAlways. Good service value for money. The Manageress is spot on.
Thyme – PoultonWe booked a table for four people at 6.30pm on 16th May. We had confirmation of our booking. We arrived with our friends to find the restaurant and bar closed and all locked up. We tried to get a response at the property and tried phoning but it rang and cut us off. We were very disappointed having turned up at the property after receiving a confirmation of our booking to find it shut with no explanation and then to receive this email asking if we enjoyed our visit!!!! Very poor treatment!!!
The Greedy Badger at The Miller Arms – Poulton-Le-FyldeAfternoon tea x 5 for 5 ladies Very good value for money and we all enjoyed it. Nice presentation. Will go again and indulge.
Thyme – PoultonExcellent food excellent service
The Greedy Badger at The Miller Arms – Poulton-Le-FyldeGluten free options available. I had a gf pizza. The chef double checked with me due to me being a Coeliac which was very reassuring. Gluten free fries too which was a treat . Other family members enjoyed their meal too. Relaxed atmosphere.
Thyme – PoultonMy mother in law to be has eaten here several times and never had an issue however last night was absolutely awful food, it has put us all off ever coming again. Food was dry, the cheese & onion pie was disgusting, salad tasted of fish. Staff didn’t do a check back to see if everything was okay with the meals. It was a hen party meal, we chose this as was local. A lady that worked there in particular was very rude if looks could have killed I wouldn’t be writing this review today.
