I've been here a few times now, but when it was under the guise of the Miller's Arms and to be quite honest, not much has changed.... Let's start with the lack of atmosphere and very tired decor. This place closed for a while before it became the "Greedy Badger" which I thought would be a Godsend as it would mean lots of well needed sprucing... WRONG! Secondly, the service. This place is like a Ghost-Ship, with nobody being seen for ages and then they just float past as if you're not there. The entrance is confusing, there is a desk with nobody at it so you don't know whether or not you're supposed to be going to the bar to confirm your table, or stand around for one of the "Ghost-staff"!! We also had to wait over 30 minutes for our meal, (granted it was Mother's Day, but that's no excuse) and we had to chase the meals up instead of being told that there was a delay. We were offered a free drink, but this is not the answer to poor service & extended waiting times I'm afraid... Not good... Finally, the food... This is good. Very good. Boiling hot and plentiful with good sized portions. Prices are what I'd consider average these days, but I supposed it could be deemed pricey by some people, based on the kind of establishment it is. Overall, it's not the best, purely down to the service and the non-existent atmosphere. If they could sort that out, it'd be a top place.
