Bread and Butter – PrestonSo many staff but waited forever to be served. Not one of them had a smile. Waited so long for someone to come and take our dessert order we gave up and left. All the lights went off like a power cut and no one explained or said anything and we felt like we needed to go. Even the lady host wasn’t friendly or smile. We said goodbye and thank you and she never said a word. Won’t be going back.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonWe haven’t visited for a while so was excited to meet up with family there. Booked a table for 1pm. Given menus and drinks served promptly. We waited 40 minutes for our food which consisted of a kids meal, a bowl of soup and 3 sandwiches. When the food eventually arrived the soup and one sandwich was missing. We were told it was on its way but then told it had been ‘missed’. We waited another 15 minutes for it to arrive by which time the others had finished their food. We got an apology but felt it wasn’t real. We were told they’d give us a cake in compensation which felt like an insult. The food was ok but not up to usual standards. My tuna and cheese melt was very dry which I didn’t mention at the time as nobody was available to tell
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonThe venue is lovely, but I am sorry to say, the afternoon tea was a let down. The bread on both sandwiches was slightly hard around the edges, which I was surprised at. The coronation filling was nice, but a cheese savoury just seems to be a weak choice for an afternoon tea - I would expect something more interesting. The sausage roll was good, but the salmon fishcake was boring and I felt again you would expect something more interesting on an afternoon tea. The cakes are mini, which is fine to me if they are exciting to look at. However a flapjack and a brownie was such a let down! I'd booked the afternoon tea in advance, but it felt like I was given what was available on the day. I understand getting a brownie or a flapjack, but both of them and a scone as the only cakes, just seems a lack of care for customers paying £22.50 .
Bread and Butter – PrestonLovely welcome and fast service. All the staff were super lovely . Food was incredible and fresh

Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonWent for brunch with friends. Food was excellent. Staff very accommodating with slight change to food order. Bit noisy in conservative and difficult to talk and hear at times.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonFabulous Sunday lunch out . We both had the roast beef as previously recommended and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The beef was so tender . All the vegetables were delicious. A good size , tasty Yorkshire pudding and delicious gravy . Glad we didn’t have a starter as we wouldn’t have been able to eat all our main course . There was no room for a dessert. Service was excellent. Staff all very friendly , attentive but not too much . Lovely atmosphere.
Bread and Butter – PrestonI’ve been here quite a few times and each time the food and service have been amazing. Ryan is an incredibly talented chef and the food he serves up is presented beautifully and absolutely delicious !
Bread and Butter – PrestonBooked a last minute table for Sunday brunch and I’m glad I did! Food was delicious, really good value for money and presented beautifully. The gent who seemed in charge (blonde hair) looked after us and nothing was too much hassle even with a pram/car seat and messy children! 100% would recommend and we will definitely be back, this place really is top notch!
