Fabulous afternoon tea, well presented. The bread and fillings of the sandwiches were really fresh, lovely selection of cakes and scones too! There was a warm and friendly atmosphere in the cafe.

The Barn – PrestonOk
Bread and Butter – PrestonVery good breakfast again
Bread and Butter – PrestonLovely food in a nice environment with a great choice on the menu but when I ordered a salad it came with an awful lot of lettuce which I struggled to get through Very tasty food however but a tad over the price I would probably pay for a salad. Have eaten here a few times and it is always busy so good to book as you might be disappointed if you just walk in on a weekday lunch time. Service great as always.
Bread and Butter – PrestonFood quality and selection great and lovely location for afternoon tea with my aging mother but why only a pot of tea for the price and not coffee. Even happy to pay the difference between coffee and tea but full price when 3 out of 4 do not drink tea adds sign to the price.
The Barn – PrestonHad a lovely meal for my mums 80th birthday, there was 17 of us, the service was great, staff very friendly and the meal was lovely
The Ribchester Arms – PrestonVery friendly staff who went that extra mile and made my husbands birthday so special. Food was amazing and would definitely recommend ypu won't be disappointed
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonVisited Bread and Butter for lunch with a friend. We both had soup which was absolutely delicious (a very light lunch). The only downside was being charged £3.90 for a small bottle of Diet Coke which we both thought was excessive. Service was excellent, as always.
Bread and Butter – PrestonMy recent visit to this homely feel restaurant was enjoyable as always. Staff friendly and atmosphere pleasant. The food was delicious and cannot fault that. My only niggle was there was no wine list available to look at, at the time I visited due to an update apparently. I ordered a bottle for the table, I was not offered to try it first before hand also we were served a more expensive wine than what I would normally go for. I only was informed of the charge when I asked for it afterwards. Also some of the young staff could do with a bit more training on their knowledge of drinks stock and things in general. Just a niggle but if a wine list was available and young staff a bit more clued up then things would have been perfect. Great place for functions also as private room spaces available.
The Ribchester Arms – PrestonOur first visit and we were amazed by the food including flavours and presentation. The venue was really nice too. The front of house service, however, was very slow. We waited a long time for drinks and someone to come and take orders etc. 1 hour 40 mins for a single course lunch seemed excessive but we weren’t in a rush so didn’t really matter. Will definitely be going back just hopefully the service will be a little smoother
Bread and Butter – PrestonThe best breakfast bar none . From the quality , perfect cooking , presentation and service , they can’t be beaten . Keep up the good work !
Bread and Butter – PrestonAmazing food and great service as always
Bread and Butter – PrestonWonderful evening at bread and butter food amazing and waiter excellent very attentive couldn't ask for a better evening definitely be back the tapas menu lots of choice.
Bread and Butter – Preston3 of us went for brunch having a selection of food and drinks. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to dine at our own pace . I have marked the Atmosphere down slightly simply because we found the front conservatory, where we sat, a little noisy.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonMy sister recommended Sunday lunch here, saying it’s the best she’s ever had. It must be popular because we could only book for 6pm. We had the lamb shoulder and the belly pork and both were exceptional. Really flavoursome and savoury. The accompanying veg were delicious too. I especially loved the buttered greens. A bit of crackling might have been nice with the pork belly though. I wish we had room for dessert! We hope to return very soon.
Bread and Butter – PrestonSunday Lunch: 1 course, £18.95; 2 courses, £23.95; 3 courses, £28.95. Available 12pm-8pm Sundays.
