Lovely food and restaurant will definitely be coming back. We had the special which was delicious
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonBeen here many times and not a bad meal. Sadly this was an exception. It was busy, the week leading to Christmas and we were told the food would be a 40 minute wait - no problem! However, we sat near the kitchen and watched as food piled up on the pass under hot lamps for more than 10 mins. And staff not batting an eye lid. We noticed one bowl of wings waiting to be sent out that we’re waiting for more than 15 mins along with several bowls of chips. When our food came we found that those wings were ours along with a bowl of fries and onion rings. All cold. When we told staff no one apologised and when the food was redone (or reheated in some cases) there was again no apology. I get it’s Christmas and busy but having worked in hospitality before there is no cost for saying sorry or checking in to see if everything is okay. I think maybe some communication between the kitchen staff needs to happen?
Wings & Beer Co – PrestonFantastic Christmas Meal. Plenty of food, quality produce and superb value for money.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonReally lovely lunch. Great food and service excellent. Been to Bread and Butter lots of times and never been disappointed. The quality and presentation of the food is a cut above the rest.
Bread and Butter – PrestonThis was our 3rd visit to Smokin Vs. As always the food is fantastic but the service doesn’t match up to the food. Lengthy waits for drinks and over an hour for our food then bits were missing, then after I told the manager, he brought the wrong thing out. Will definitely go again because the food is fantastic.
Smokin Vs Real Barbecue – PrestonExcellent Sunday lunch, great food and service, slightly pricey and interior a bit bright but I would return
Bread and Butter – PrestonBest Sunday lunch ever!
Bread and Butter – PrestonHELLO GREAT FOOD, GREAT ATMOSPHERE THANKS, SEE YOU SOON MARK
Smokin Vs Real Barbecue – PrestonAnother fantastic meal at Bread and Butter. Plenty of choice, nicely presented and superb taste. Very good value for money. Wine reasonably priced too.
Bread and Butter – PrestonLovely meal and catch up with friends. Atmosphere warm and inviting. All waiting on staff were friendly and very attentive. Food as always was fabulous
Bread and Butter – PrestonAmazing transformation. Beautiful venue.
Ye Horns Inn – PrestonHad a lovely pre Xmas lunch with friends, will definitely be back
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonHad a works meal for 30 people and was looked after by the staff and the food was great. We had an area allocated for us and was given plenty of time to eat and drink all together. Was a quieter night so didn’t feel crowded and plenty of space! Great selection of drinks and they are of a high quality. Will definitely return!
Wings & Beer Co – PrestonVisited for the first time this week and had a lovely meal - we opted for the festive dinner and mulled wine but will definitely be back to try the usual menu again! Food was really good and portion sizes were generous! Staff were also really welcoming.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – Preston1st visit. Very quiet, one large party leaving as we arrived, otherwise empty. Menu supplied was much reduced from what was on the website so had to make a different choice. Food came quickly & was hot. Others ate all theirs (pork) but I had the brisket & it was 60% fat & therefore most of it left on the plate. Was served with French fries & onion slaw & cabbage (which is what most of my edible meal consisted off). Staff where helpful & service was quick (but it was a late sitting & the place was empty). I made the booking to try it but all in all I was disappointed & I won't be returning......! Each paid £20 for 1 course & a drink.
Smokin Vs Real Barbecue – PrestonFoods awesome, no where in the area like it. Would pay a visit, if you’re debating it. Staff were helpful and polite, the only small thing I’d point out is, it is slightly on the chilly side in the restaurant which in the beginning I have to be honest did make me a little nervous going forward. After climatising we were fine and the food made up for the lack of temperature!
Smokin Vs Real Barbecue – PrestonWe love Smokin V's. We have eaten here many times and the food is always great and the service friendly. Always reminds us of the type of place we used to eat when we lived in Texas for a couple of years. Best BBQ food in the area.
