Food was lovely and the venue is really nice and relaxed. Not too noisy when busy but a really nice friendly atmosphere. Service was good however only comment I would have was that our meal was done within 40 minutes of arriving. Starter was with us within 5-10 minutes and main came out straight after we finished the starter. I would have liked it to have been a little slower paced between courses to enjoy the evening more.

Had a great meal at Avucciria yesterday. Great offers and great portions sizes. Lovely friendly staff and lovely food.

The food, as always, was very good and a great menu. One small bit of feedback: the door into the kitchen has an extremely loud squeak - and we were sat near the door. Just take a few minutes to grease the hinges and save your customers having to listen to an unnecessary and annoying noise.

Lovely Saturday evening meal! The food was delicious, service excellent and great value for money too. We will return.

We have been to the Whitchaff a few times but I was disappointed this time. The food I chose was the cheese and onion pie with beans and chips, price £17.95! The piece of pie was more like a children's portion and not many baked beans but enough chips. My husband had the same but a bigger piece of pie. Very disappointed that the roast dinner had run out, we were there at 5 o'clock. The sweets were okay but nothing special for the price. I don't think the food lived up to past meals we have had. Service was quite slow, didn't appear to have enough staff. Table wasn't ready when we arrived.

We attended the premises as a party of four. The initial contact and service throughout was fantastic. Our starters and main courses were plentiful and cooked to a high standard. Overall a fantastic experience!

Visited with friends for a meal. It is quite a few years since dining at the Whitchaff and we enjoyed every minute in this very nice establishment. All our meals were delicious and served with a smile, nothing was too much trouble for our waitress. We dined from 17.30 and by the time we left (19.30) the restaurant was very busy. This was a Wednesday evening at a Robinsons pub in Rawtenstall. Well done to all the very nice staff. We will be back.

Visited on a busy Friday night and was treated to fabulous food and even better service. The food is a little expensive for the amount you get but it was well made and tasted gorgeous. However, the service was outstanding. We could not have wanted for anything but it was done discreetly without bothering us while we were chatting. It was a really great evening and I will be going again soon!

It was very easy to make a reservation. The menu has plenty of choices and caters for many dietary requirements. The prices are very reasonable. The food we had was very tasty and cooked to a high standard and the service was excellent. It was an enjoyable evening dining out.

Really delicious food - fantastic quality and flavour, and service was inpeccable. I was very pleasantly surprised to find such high quality in a local restaurant. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Should be 4.9 but the sliders wont take me there. Fish pie and accompanying veg was delicious as was the steak and ale pie but my husband found the chips a bit hard and the fish a bit too oily.

Went for a meal in Sunday 31st August … food fabulous .. service fabulous and extremely good value for money .. can’t fault this place at all .. excellent and we will be back

Another excellent visit to our favourite place this time on our Wedding Anniversary. Greeted by the friendly team and as always the service was perfect. Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food we ordered was delicious and of an exceptional standard. Some new additions to the menu meant we tried some new and exciting food. All washed down with a great Rioja. Yet another memorable visit. Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely meal on Sunday, the food was outstanding. The staff and the environment were both lovely and I had a wonderful time.
