Lunch for two on a week day. Food and service were excellent, we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our waitress was very kind and helpful. It was quiet, which was the idea. The other time I've eaten here was on a Saturday night, the place was rammed and very noisy. I don't drink beer as often as I used to, Northern Whisper is most excellent. I'll eat here again.

A’Vucciria – Rawtenstall5* experience as always. My partner and I’s favourite restaurant. The service is friendly, great atmosphere, and the food is outstanding. Never had a bad meal once ! Always try something from the Specials. This week it was a porcini mushroom pasta dish that I wish I could eat every day! :-) I recommend the Ribs which just melt in your mouth, the Prawns which are huge and bursting with flavour, and the Arancini is a firm fave !

We both had Roast turkey which was generous and very tasty. We were seated at a warm comfortable table and the room was calm and spacious with a nice atmosphere. Will definitely return.

We meet here as a family every December for our annual family catch up and there is never a single thing we can fault. The food is delicious (possibly the best chicken burger I’ve ever had, fully recommend the panko garlic and paprika chicken burger!) staff are always helpful, friendly and efficient. And the atmosphere is lovely and warm. See you next December!
