Thanks for accommodating the six of us. Even though Sam advised it wasn’t possible we made it work and so did the gentleman front of house. Sam was clearly annoyed and only gave us a set of 5 side plates & cutlery. The restaurant would have lost £350 if the gentleman didn’t help us and we were thrilled with his service. (Gentleman with the broken fingers) the food is great and the drinks are fab. Would love to see some more Italian branded on the menu too such as crodino and silver cocktail

Fab and attentive service, fantastic food and choice. We all found the restaurant a lovely place eat. Nothing was too much trouble and even though there is a limited time to have your table we didn't feel rushed. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic experience with food and service. Food was freshly prepared and had amazing ingredients! The only problem was that the courses were served too quickly when we had not finished the previous course. There should be some rest time so that we can enjoy the wine and wait for next course. Very proffesional staff.

First time visit for my wife and I. We both had the cheese and onion pie which was really good. Good service and friendly staff and lovely and clean. As Arnie said " I'll be back".

Been here many times before but this time was even better than the last ones. Everything was impeccable from the food to the service. Could not recommend highly enough and will certainly be returning.

Enjoyed a family meal at the whitshaff. After an indifferent start following the refurbishment the last three visits have been very good. Staff were attentive and food excellent. They can on occasions present as a bit disorganised. On one occasion I was called on my mobile asking where we were and we were at our table with drinks!! That shouldn’t take anything away. Whitshaff is restored to its former great standard and we look forward to ur next visit

Another brilliant meal at the Whitchaff Inn. Myself and cousin are regular eaters here when we get chance to meet up and we’ve never been disappointed. We have probably been through the majority of their menu, it is varied and there’s plenty of choice. Really friendly service given by staff members and the overall atmosphere is lovely. Have recently found this gem and have been three times in the past month. Have tried something different every time and have never been disappointed by the food. Friends I have taken with me, like myself have also been very pleased at both the quality of the food, the location and lovely atmosphere in the pub/restaurant.

The food was really good. I had one of the specials, sea bass. It was one of the best fish dishes I have had in this country. My fellow diners also enjoyed their meals. Good portions as well. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Even though food was cooked fresh didn’t have to wait long. Will definitely be back.
