Food was divine, atmosphere great and clearly despite a long Christmas and New Year the team were really welcoming and service great.

Delicious food as always. Very quick service (we were there at 5pm, though it was a Saturday). Very friendly and helpful staff.

There were four people in our group, two are vegetarians. The food was amazing, we had the cheese board and the mixed meat and cheese board to start. Calamari, meatballs, lamb, cod and frittata were delicious and cooked to perfection. Beautiful wine and Prosecco. The service was excellent and the ambiance was lovely. It’s a 10 out of 10 from us. Can’t wait to return.

We had a lovely evening on New Years Eve. I had requested a specific seating area by email and this was fulfilled. The waiting on staff were polite friendly and hospitable and our food was really lovely. We had the meat and cheee board, a bruschetta selection and a fish platter. The ambience of the bar was perfect and not too busy but had an overall pleasant vibe . Avuccuria is our favourite bar and we would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone. You will not be disappointed! 10/10 from us!

Have been going to the Whitchaff for many years and the quality of food and the standard of service is excellent and the staff friendly and efficient . There on New Year’s eve lunchtime and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Been a few times now, great food and value for money. A lovely warm welcoming pub, so much better than larger chains. Service is great, plenty choice on the menu and excellent food.

We've visited a few times.. It's always excellent.. Great food, big portions, it's either a starter or desserts! Definitely be back soon and highly recommend

Excellent food and exceptional service.

Lovely food and atmosphere as always and great service. A piece of constructive feedback is to serve more bread with the meat plater. 2 thin slices of baguette is not enough in my opinion. Other than that it was fabulous and offer of 3 dishes for £20, great. It can get a little noisy at times though as it has such a high ceiling.

Absolutely the best food ever. The friendliness and service of the staff and the atmosphere are all brilliant
