Have not been here for years and booked on a whim. Really glad I did, its a fantastic little restaurant, great food, well delivered in cosy friendly atmosphere. Will certainly be back.

Relatively small menu but a good range of options in starters, mains and desserts. I had the superb lamb rump on my first visit and even came back all the way from Portsmouth to taste it again! Lovely friendly, relaxed atmosphere and not surprised that they are often fully booked. Next trip up will be for Sunday lunch.

A liccle gem in A.o.M! Always best to have a small but well rounded menu packed full of authentic fresh flavours rather than reams of stiff from the freezer.The scotch egg was a dream starter and the sea bass to follow had a wonderful caper infused broth. Great value, nice intimate venue, friendly staff. Will get back soon.

As always a superb meal with friendly efficient service. Service is not rapid because they are busy and the food is freshly prepared, but it all runs smoothly and the food delicious. We are so lucky to have this excellent restaurant in the village.

Enjoyed Sunday dinner at the Fat Loaf yesterday .. excellent meal as always. We have been regulars at the Fat Loaf since it opened and have never had a bad meal.
