We had a great family dinner with our 8 yr old son. The food, wine, atmosphere and service were great. The kids menu was one of the best we’ve seen - gave good options for a child that enjoys smaller versions of adult food.

Excellent meal with friends last Thursday evening. The food, as usual, was first class and the staff lead by proprietor Tim , are helpful and efficient. I believe this restaurant is the best in this area.

This place is truly amazing. We've been many time and invited various friends and family. The menu is changed regularly and the products are exceptional, fantastic chefs and mein host is the so friendly and professional. The choice of wines on the menu ate superb. Long may they continue.

We are so lucky having this gem of a restaurant on our doorstep. The whole meal we had on 4th September really was perfect, very well presented and the staff were their usual welcoming selves, had a really good night. If you haven’t been, you should try it.

Another fabulous meal at the Fat Loaf. Never fails to impress.

We went for Sunday lunch. Both the scallop starter and the lamb main were, quite simply, exceptional! Faultless. My wife’s tapas were rated very highly too. Looking forward to our next visit.

Myself and my husband have been dining in this restaurant for about 10yrs and we can honestly say we have never had a bad experience, the food has been wonderful the staff are so friendly and accommodating it’s a very comfortable happy professional popular little restaurant, we love it.

We had friends visiting from N. Wales & decided to take them to this very special restaurant which is pretty unique. We had a fabulous meal & the service was really excellent. The chefs & staff are so friendly & last night, when it was so hot outdoors, the AC was particularly appreciated. Our friends were so impressed & want to return next time they visit. We have been going to the Fat Loaf for a few years now and always had a great time. From celebrating family birthdays to date night. The most recent visit was post lockdown and it was fabulous. Food, stunning, service, excellent and a really great vibe. It had been decorated since our last visit and the place looked great. We loved it and it won't be long until we visit again. My husband and I have been eating at this restaurant for more than 10yrs, Birthdays, Anniversary, Christmas, Mother’s Day and Fathers Day and I can honestly say we have had some wonderful meals here with family and friends, as well as their Christmas take away meal, service excellent, very friendly atmosphere, food is amazing it’s a really good restaurant and would recommend it to any one.

Another excellent meal last night, the lamb was so tasty. I was asked how I would like it and it was cooked just that way, perfect. Great service, excellent local beers (great they are supporting local brewers.) and a great friendly atmosphere.

Had dinner 4 girls 8/7/21 fantastic food as always . Teresa recommend a french rose which we enjoyed sat outside in the eve sun . Throughly missed the food and staff not been for 18 mths I def won’t leave it as long next time . Can’t wait to try the tapas

Our first time “out” and overall we enjoyed it. The food was good but those who had a starter thought the prawns lacked flavour and were a little underwhelming, the portion size was small. Drinks were excellent. I personally didn’t feel comfortable as the bench we sat on was joined to the next table of diners and we were not socially distanced from them.

Can’t remember when I tasted better lamb rump even when I have done it myself and the desert was divine. All my friends were equally impressed. My friends had the prawns for starter and really enjoyed it . I didn’t have one and regretted it. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were great. Overall a great evening.
