As always a superb meal with friendly efficient service. Service is not rapid because they are busy and the food is freshly prepared, but it all runs smoothly and the food delicious. We are so lucky to have this excellent restaurant in the village.

Enjoyed Sunday dinner at the Fat Loaf yesterday .. excellent meal as always. We have been regulars at the Fat Loaf since it opened and have never had a bad meal.

Went to the Fat Loaf Saturday as managed to get a late booking. Really nice atmosphere. Food tasty & well cooked and service really attentive & friendly. What a local restaurant/ bistro should be.

Wonderful meal, great service and terrific choice of drinks. I would highly recommend a visit, something for everyone. The atmosphere was really good and even though there was only two of us, we didn't feel out of place. Just glad we had a 10 min walk home, as I had left full and couldn't have eaten even a 'wafer thin mint' more.

We had a small get together for our sons 50th birthday. Everything about the evening was superb. The food was delicious, the staff could not do enough and nothing was too much trouble. There was generally a happy atmosphere and all the other customers seemed to be enjoying their food and the evening

Fantastic food and excellent service as always. Our go to restaurant and so lucky to have it within walking distance. The menu changes often enough to showcase the best quality in season produce but is comforting so never daunting; even our 15 year old niece who is "particular" found at least one item in each course that she wanted and loved everything.
