Went to the Fat Loaf Saturday as managed to get a late booking. Really nice atmosphere. Food tasty & well cooked and service really attentive & friendly. What a local restaurant/ bistro should be.

Fantastic as ever, well done all

Wonderful meal, great service and terrific choice of drinks. I would highly recommend a visit, something for everyone. The atmosphere was really good and even though there was only two of us, we didn't feel out of place. Just glad we had a 10 min walk home, as I had left full and couldn't have eaten even a 'wafer thin mint' more.

The food and service were excellent. Would highly recommend.

We had a small get together for our sons 50th birthday. Everything about the evening was superb. The food was delicious, the staff could not do enough and nothing was too much trouble. There was generally a happy atmosphere and all the other customers seemed to be enjoying their food and the evening

We had a fabulous family meal. The Fat Loaf never fails to impress. Absolutely delicious fresh food and great service. I would recommend without any hesitation. Thank you x

Fantastic food and excellent service as always. Our go to restaurant and so lucky to have it within walking distance. The menu changes often enough to showcase the best quality in season produce but is comforting so never daunting; even our 15 year old niece who is "particular" found at least one item in each course that she wanted and loved everything. We had a great family dinner with our 8 yr old son. The food, wine, atmosphere and service were great. The kids menu was one of the best we’ve seen - gave good options for a child that enjoys smaller versions of adult food.

Excellent meal with friends last Thursday evening. The food, as usual, was first class and the staff lead by proprietor Tim , are helpful and efficient. I believe this restaurant is the best in this area.

This place is truly amazing. We've been many time and invited various friends and family. The menu is changed regularly and the products are exceptional, fantastic chefs and mein host is the so friendly and professional. The choice of wines on the menu ate superb. Long may they continue.

We are so lucky having this gem of a restaurant on our doorstep. The whole meal we had on 4th September really was perfect, very well presented and the staff were their usual welcoming selves, had a really good night. If you haven’t been, you should try it.

Another fabulous meal at the Fat Loaf. Never fails to impress.

We went for Sunday lunch. Both the scallop starter and the lamb main were, quite simply, exceptional! Faultless. My wife’s tapas were rated very highly too. Looking forward to our next visit.

Myself and my husband have been dining in this restaurant for about 10yrs and we can honestly say we have never had a bad experience, the food has been wonderful the staff are so friendly and accommodating it’s a very comfortable happy professional popular little restaurant, we love it.

We had friends visiting from N. Wales & decided to take them to this very special restaurant which is pretty unique. We had a fabulous meal & the service was really excellent. The chefs & staff are so friendly & last night, when it was so hot outdoors, the AC was particularly appreciated. Our friends were so impressed & want to return next time they visit.
