The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingHad a meal with our friends last Saturday enjoy it very much good food good service
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingWe had our wedding reception here 50 years ago and thought it would be nice to come back on our anniversary. Sadly we were disappointed with the quality of the food and portion sizes were inadequate for the prices charged. The only thing that was good was the tartare sauce.
Ravelston House – EdinburghLovely place, such a nice dining area. Food was great, high tea is my favourite, such good value with delicious scones and all the wee sweet treats. Brought friends for their first visit, they were very impressed and will return. Service always very good too.
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingTook about ten minutes to be seated and another 15 mins when sat to get a drinks order took but can’t fault the meal it was lovely and did come out quick after delay at start Staff were all running around n all had veey long faces due to been bery busy
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingGreat meal for Father’s Day! Lovely setting and food very fresh and hot. There was no cocktail/mocktail menu but made use of all the other drinks! No custard either but the staff were so accommodating and we got a scone and tea for dessert. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back. It’s the only nice restaurant in Stirling centre and I tell everyone to go!
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingDined here a few times over the past 18 months. Have sampled a mid morning snack,Lunch and Dinner menus. The food has always been excellent, varied and affordable All the staff who attended to our needs have been polite, helpful, knowledgeable and perhaps most importantly, cheerful. Nothing too much bother and all done with a smile. How refreshing!!The interior of the bar/ dining area is spotless, well laid out and the table settings ,cutlery, etc top notch.Provided nothing changes this is definitely going to be one of our regular eating places.
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingWould highly recommend to anyone, amazing food. Definitely will be back

Steak and Cherry – GlasgowTerrible. Food quality and value was extremely disappointing. Avoid this place. I left a Google review and the owner told me it was my fault I had a bad time. Go to McDonald's and you'll have a better night out.
Steak and Cherry – GlasgowSoggy chips
Steak and Cherry – GlasgowHave met up with friends on two different occasions and both times had the High Tea. Great meals and excellent value. Planning our next one. We definitely recommend.
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingExcellent
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingHad a lovely meal last Saturday, both the Haggis Balls and the Mac and Cheese were delicious. The Braised Beef special was also tasty. We were well looked after by Thais, Kelsie and Toby. We will be back in the near future.
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingGreat food & service Value for money & great portion sizes Highly recommended Will deffo be back
Steak and Cherry – GlasgowOver all i would say it was quite average experience. The steak and burger quality was good and the flavor was nice but nothing extra ordinary when compared to the price. Mushroom sauce was average and came at a cost. What really biased by review were the fries. They were soggy, greasy, not seasoned and the way they were sticking to each other it was obvious that were out of freezer. Quite disappointing for a steak restaurant.
Steak and Cherry – Glasgow2 courses for £16. Available Monday to Friday until 7pm.
