The food and service were well above average. However, the restaurant is most interesting as it occupies three rooms which have been converted from an early seventeenth century boot and shoemaker's shop, workshop and residence. It was once owned by the father of the artist, David Roberts and is where he was born.

Been using this restaurant for many years. Jimmy Wong recently sold out for it to be purchased by the owners of Siagon Siagon. Who have really attempted to continue, quite successfully, the standard set by Jimmy Wong or at least by his chef. The deep fried chilli beef is a must equally so aromatic crispy duck and grilled sole Peking style.

The best indian restaurant in scotland. Authentic delicious Indian food, good potions and excellent service. staff are great and ever so helpful. go downstairs for a more casual meal with more fast food type food (pizza, kebab etc) or upstairs in the restaurant for a more proper meal. if nobody? ever been, its one place you just HAVE to go. you wont regret it. By far the best indian in glasgow.

I first visited this restaurant about 25 years ago when I was a student in Edinburgh and I'm delighted to find that it still exists. It is a truly unique experience to eat here...and sometimes you do a lot more than eat. We used to dance and look at Armenian atlases and have stimulating discussions with the owner. You must go here at least once in your life. Evelyn Roe

My family and I have been eating here since it opened and we have yet to be let down. The food is exceptional and is served in good time. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. 10/10!

Food excellent, service great. Intimate restaurant that really catered well for both the acquired and mainstream tastes.

Can't believe no one has written a review about the Koh-I-Noor before now ! We have been going here for over 30 years and it is just as good ad ever. Our 2 daughters have been brought up on Koh-I-Noor curries and although we now live in Cheshire we still travel back north for regular "fixes" of the best curries on the UK. Thanks to Rasul, Waseem, and all the others over the years for the excellent service.

I have been eating out in Glasgow for almost 25 years and the only place for me will always be a little known restaurant called the "Neelim" on Dumbarton Road in Scotstoun. The food is fresh, authentic and fantastic. The ambience is spot on and the service is second to none. The staff there will always ensure a good service, particularly Foji, and the food is always of the highest quality. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and suggest if you want good, modestly priced Indian food, the Neelim is where to go!

This may sound like a cliche but the meal I had at Dusit surpassed every other Thai meal I have had (and I have been to Thailand!). To start I had the satay chicken skewers which were nice but the absolute clincher was my main course. It was a seafood dish (unfortunately I can't remember the name) which had jumbo king prawns, scallops and pieces of monkfish in a delicious sauce that was a bit sweet and a bit sour. Divine!

I stayed in Glasgow working for around 3-4 months and during my stay it was by far the best place i found to dine in Sauchiehall Street. Excellent.
