very good service, meals are lovely, is good to go at lunch between 12-2, is only 5.95 for three courses.

No 1 Chinese The – Edinburghwe had the meze meal for 3 and were very disappointed in the quality and quantity of the food. The waiter was very unfriendly and unhelpful - haughty even - I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Hanam’s Kurdish and Middle East Restaurant – EdinburghGood food, lovely restaurant and great staff, but, 5.75 for a glass of ordinary Rioja spoilt an otherwise excellent lunch which is a shame.
Cafe Andaluz – GlasgowI have just visited the Loft and had one of the best steaks i have ever eaten, the presentation was superb along with the service, the staff very attentive and very good value for money
The Loft Restaurant – PerthWent along to Snooks for dinner with my mum and son...what a night we had. The staff are very warm and welcoming and can't do enough for you to make your evening an enjoyable one. After looking at the menu, we couldn't decide on what to order - there is so much to choose from, such variety. Finally, we did decide and we weren't disappointed with our choice. The starters were delicious, but our main meals even more so.The Surf n Turf and T-bone Steak were mouthwatering. Our waiter was especially helpful when it came to my sons favourite meal of chicken nuggets - he asked if he would prefer batter or breadcrumbs on the freshly prepared chicken. Didnt think we would have room for dessert, but after seeing what was on offer we just had to try.... choca roca cheescake was to die for! It makes a nice change to go out to a restaurant with friendly, attentive staff instead of the usual conveyor belt of get them in and out. I'll be back.
SJ @ Snooks – GlasgowHI. WAS AT SNOOKS STEAKHOUSE ON SATURDAY NIGHT. MY FRIEND HAS BEEN NAGGING ME TO GO NOW FOR AGES SO I THOUGHT I WOULD GO TO SEE WHAT THE FUSS WAS ABOUT. WELL I AMGLAD I DID. THE PLACE WAS HUGE WITH A GREAT MENU, (NOT JUST STEAKS). THE MEAL WAS FANTASTIC WITH A HUGE STEAK FOR THE BOTH OF US AND THE SERVICE WAS GREAT TOO. WE WILL DEFO BE BACK AND WOULD DEFO URGE EVERYONE ELSE TO GO TOO IF YOUR LOOKING FOR GOOD FOOD AND A GOOD NIGHT OOT. OR SHOULD I SAY GREAT FOOD AND A GREAT NIGHT.
SJ @ Snooks – GlasgowWhat has happened to Bar Milano been there twice in recent weeks and have noticed a very big change service not as good as it was and there is a definite change in the food has there been a change of staff
Bar Milano – Glasgowchicken baws were succulent, and the waiter javed was very juicy, would definitely go back for more
Shezan Tandoori – GlasgowRecent visit to new Andiamo Milngavie was a complete nightmare, very nice decor, food was not to scratch as a proper Italian restaurant, had lots better, service was poor nothing as compare to the decor, will not be back
Andiamo – GlasgowI remember about 7 years ago Tony used to cook the breakfasts, pastas and pizzas himself, good old days, i have to say tho the Polish chefs still do the pasta nice and mushy like Tony did, its just tasteless affordable food nowadays with fake cheesy polish people cooking and serving you.
Vittoria Restaurant – EdinburghI think its been 10/11 years since i started going to La Piazza, over the years i have made regular visits to it and never have i been let down or wished i had stopped at any of the other thousands of Italian restaurants in town but lately i noticed that the abuse its been taking from the council closing it off to traffic is making it struggle and its not as busy as it used to be.... hence the reason i am writing this review as i came across it. Its a place you never hear about but the ones who know it could never be replace it if it was to go. Try it out, Its a real Italian restaurant.
La Piazza – EdinburghSaw a review in the "list Magazine" about Tapa, as the Best Spanish Tapas bar in Edinburgh....It was absolutely accurate. Great value and fab setting.
Tapa – EdinburghI was worried when i heard that the restaurant I was about to go to was based below street level in Edinburgh - however when i did get inside the warm environment and ambience were overwhelming and I cannot image a better dining experience. The capacity of the restaurant surprised me to I was not expecting such a wide open space or the hand made decorations that I was presented with. The service was second to none and quick in comparison to many other restaurants nearby, i also was amazed when the bill came that the prices were so low. Needless to say since this restaurant is so close to the city centre and minutes around the corner from the playhouse I will definitely be returning.
Baan Thai Restaurant – Edinburghsteak was dirt poor. staff were complete rockets. never again
SJ @ Snooks – GlasgowThe food in the Village is to die for. It really is delicious and the staff are so well mannered and polite it all makes for an enjoyable experience.............until you go to powder your nose that is!!!! The toilet is very basic. It has pretty smelling liquid soap. It's just a pity it has no hot water to go with it and more often or not you have to try to open the two doors back to the restaurant with your elbows so you can dry your soaking wet hands on a napkin before sitting down to eat your delicious meal because there is NEVER anything to dry your hands on. I can live with this though.......the food is too nice not to.........i'll just take an alcohol rub with me next time.
Village Curry House – GlasgowAnother jewel is Edinburghs crown. What a hidden treasure this place really is. I honestly did not believe pubs like this still existed. You must pay the Cafe Royal a visit a real step back to when service and value mattered to people. Valerie and her staff are a credit, thankyou.
Cafe Royal – EdinburghA truly amazing experience, it was so refreshing to find an establishment that delivered a quality product, the service, the selection of ales and beers to the amazing food, seafood lovers this is a MUST if only for the oysters. WONDERFUL.
Cafe Royal – EdinburghI was in Edinburgh for a show on Saturday and wanted to get out of the hustle and bustle of the main street for some food, when my fiancee and i spoted this quaint little Thai restaurant in the basement of the Richmond hotel not even a 5 minute walk from the playhouse, so we dropped in as we have always fancied trying out some Thai food. How delighted were we, the food was sublime, the waitress eve was very nice, helped us with recommendations on food and we had one of our best restaurant experiences in Edinburgh for a long long time. needless to say we will be returning again I cant recommend this lovely little restaurant enough to anyone looking for great food, friendly informative staff and a stunning experience of Thai cuisine, the setting was also lovely Steve & Michelle
