We spent 2 days at the Golden Lion Hotel and very impressed with it .Our stay was lovely. rooms spacious ,clean,and warm .Would definitely recommend as the staff very welcoming and nothing was a bother to them.Breakfast and dinner was amazing plenty of choices for meals at a fair price.As a family of six we would certainly come back to stay.

I had the full veggie breakfast, and while I was a bit worried about veggie black pudding the whole thing was delicious. The coffee was hot and strong. The staff were attentive, but not intrusive. I’ll be back.

But we were delighted with the quality of everything we ate and the lady who served us was great with my elderly mother in law.

We told her we'd not even had a look at the menu she came back a few minutes later and asked again if we were ready to order. We said no we were leaving and so we left without eating. Never booking to eat there again.

The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingMy Partner and I arrived on Sunday, 22/12/24 and we were made feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed a 3 Course Christmas Menu, with very attentive Staff playing their part. The Restaurant was so Festive and immaculate. Indeed, the Hotel itself was very impressive. The Food was excellently prepared and we thoroughly enjoyed a great meal. Needless to say, we are both looking forward to returning in the near future.
